Frankincense (deep sense of Soul and 'all is well' spiritually.)
Lavender (Relaxation. Not as deep as Frankincense but very pleasant. Comforting)
Ylang-Ylang (sensual joyful, playful.)
Rosemary (wakes up your mind and steadying, 'earthing'.)
Rose (a 'romantic' smell but best when just hinted at, not cloying and too strong.)
Orange Flower Water (happy.)

I'm a newbie to essential oils but magnolia has had a strong effect on me, and puts me in a good mood.

If you put 3 drops of the essential oil into the candle wax once it has melted this will fill your room with a lovely scent. If you use a pink candle with rose oil this will promote happinness. X

It dosn't have to be an essential oil. Sometimes you will catch a scent that will evoke a memory. A memory of something you really liked or of a happy time in your life and happiness just fills your whole being.

The smell of fresh cut grass always brings a smile to my face and takes me back to happy childhood memories.
Jasmine oils work for me indoors.

My favorite incense scent is called 'Superhit', by Nag Champa brand... It has a very sweet, pleasant aroma... Stimulating but not too strong.....

This is an utterly misguided question. If you think a smell is going to bring you happiness, you seriously need to rethink what true happiness actually is. The most appealing smell in the world will never bring true happiness. Neither will anything you can taste, touch, hear, or see. True happiness lies beyond the ego's desires for sensory pleasure.
