whynding up

hurt is a language traditions have used to be scared about
and de-extonise at their own cup of tea, now we know hurt
can be as a trolly bumped we catch up to and not a uncool
forge, it's upto us to see hurt as just dirt shoving and not as
outschooled

pain is the etching of the heart,
due to attachments we permit things of the temporary to be written on it.
all get to feel it, some more then others due to there passing or faltering of there lessons.
the universe dishes out what one sows to reap, but it is the world that does make it weight to sin, overcoming it is the answering.

My understanding is that PAIN isn't needed to progress. It is just feedback for our erroneous thoughts, emotions, actions, that are averaged over time; it doesn't always come immediately. Another important point is that PAIN is subjective.

Cool Chronic Pain verus Pain?

Hello,
Never thought I would find a pain thread, but depends what type?
Spiritual pain or physical pain?
I only know physical pain, and there is normal pain, real pain ( vomit pain) then the curse of all physical pain..Chronic Pain.
And with chronic pain you get the worst pain of all,it destroys human minds,it makes you climb walls or sit in the corner like a scared whimpering animal, you do not feel like a human being anymore, you are constantly cussing, nobody or anything in particular, why me,why me,why me,why me ad infinatum!

I am talking referred pain, nerve pain,a pain so bad you want to die,a pain in one part of your body but the cause at the opposite end of your body,it'd a soul destroying pain, but you seem to get used to it and it turns from so much distress to vomiting pain, you actually vomit and/or collapse in a heap.

Then it turns chronic,it goes from real pain to pain you just tolerate, you still cuss but under your breath lest you are labelled a whinger, you want to throttle anyone who says " just get over it",these selfish uncompassionate idiots have no idea how close they are to a proper flogging, but, you are too sore to deliver said flogging.

No,there is pain and there really is pain, they real deal, show some sympathy!

Regards Billy

Was wondering, metaphysics uses information of science and the light of spiritual information and brings into spiritual discussion emotions and experience. Both sides are examined. A number of authors talk about the how the brain produces emotions and processing of perception. From my experience I personally have found the information other learned people have written helpful. Has this source of information been explored as I am sure everyone is aware of it? This is new age information and site with lots of information, old and new. Some believe in only the new and some in only the old, whereas I believe in both.

The brain attempts emotionless and apathy though the mechanism of repression, denial, projection and other defense mechanisms to reach balance. Just a thought.

Interesting. Thanks for posting!
And you're right. Pain is just another form of experience.

Maybe the mistake is in the perspective that they are totally good and no bad should ever come to them.

it's more rational to think that we all have a little bit of light and darkness in us.

And in general people ask for what comes to them. Perhaps not mentally, or vocally, or in any conscious way, but through our actions and inactions we cause things to happen to us.

That's a really good question. In the past I've tended to want to justify it, or explain it. Pain seems to be such a 'normal' part of existence that I just accepted it instead of questioning it. Now I question the universe. It seems to be the creation of a psychopath. Who else would make a universe so full of suffering?

People say suffering is necessary, that if you don't suffer, how can you grow or know joy? I don't buy that argument. We don't need suffering to grow, we need challenges. Who would teach their own child by giving it cancer? Woudn't it be alot easier to just give the child a challenging task that would result in growth and confidence? We're so hard on ourselves that we think we deserve to suffer. It's all part of how this backwards universe works, our thinking is heartless.
