Do Spirit guides or guardian angels protect you against evil spirits?

But evil spirits are rare. They don't have the power and ability to materialize like your guardian angel or an Archangel. And as much as the spirits do evil, they are not entirely "pure" evil. Pure evil doesn't exit. Its ridiculous. There are those spirits who after human death carrying on their "sins" so to speak. A glutton in their physical life will be a gluttonous spirit with a glutton spiritual body and probably live off other people's energy. A murderer dies continues to be a murderer and a criminal on the Other Side. Because the Other Side and this world are one and the same. There is NO jolt to the Other Side, its a transition like a boat into another river or stream. It carries the same mold and rust from the last river into the next. Sometimes it keeps piling on.

The spirits that Christ told to get out of possessed people were the souls of murderers, criminals, thieves, schizophrenics, psychopaths, sex addicts, drunkards, and gluttons. All things that corrupt the subconscious mind carriers into the Astral world. These astral spirits (once human) dwell in the Ether of the Earth. They do not go to the Astral heavens. They prefer the ether of the earth to live off our emotions and negativity. They can be easily spotted or some cloak themselves as "Shadow People". Some shows like My Ghost Story on BIO or even Ghost Adventures have heard sightings of "Shadow People". These souls refer to stay in the dark and hide themselves.

But remember no spirit is eternally evil. Even when the heavenly Hosts cast out the rebellious souls from Heaven before the creation of gross matter, these souls found themselves going to other planes and worlds to understand their wrongdoing. Many became human and have redeemed themselves. But the fall from spirit into obsession of the carnal continues to this day.

Its funny how so many spiritualists easily accept the angels and archangels operating from their divine-center which is The Christ (christ-consciousness), but they forget that there are those souls, or entities that operate from the selfish center, the dark energy which is called Lucifer. How can anyone forget??!!! The Christ Consciousness is a multi-dimensional being that was with God and is God. Duh! When God created our dualistc universe, a piece or portion of the Christ broke off from God called "Lucifer" and became The Satan, the Evil Mind. I love your post!! What do you think about non human evil entities (or are entities non human?)? Though I think that many negative things are caused by human (emotions, ect..) I do think that there are some non human things that creep into here

I see that that you are a professional Medium. I have no psychic/medium gifts. I am your average mortal lol . I read and research real cases of spiritual activity and as well follow a lot of the teachings that such yogis like Yukteswar or Yogananda profess from their Christ-like intuition. Along with Edgar Cayce's readings. I naturally gravitated to these guys. And I was raised Roman Catholic and taught all the complete opposite. So go figure. Perhaps that natural gravitation to these men was of intuitiveness reasons.

I just feel the mythological stories of "demons" like the Roman Catholic teachings is pure b/s. But I feel that the thing I wrote which is really from Yogananda's writings makes more sense. And if there are demons, they are just manifestation of One Evil Energy.

I have encountered negative spirits yes, trying to appear to be "demons". They will even growl or try and speak to me in deep tones. They don't realize that I can see through what they are trying to act like. I saw a man who died as a result of an OD with heroine. He was stuck in a house and wanted this family OUT. So he tried what he knew, to be "evil". Eventually I convinced him that he needed to leave them alone and that they were "wise" to him and would no longer put fear out for him to feed off of. He eventually stopped bothering them. He knows he will go to a place in the Afterlife that isn't where everyone goes. I told him that it would be okay there, that he would still be offered healing and that where he was now, was worse than where he was going. He would eventually be able to come back to earth and try again in a new body. (which is what I've been told by my guides). I'm not sure if he took my advice, but he's not around the family any longer. They still have free will. Those that refuse to leave the "in between" for whatever reason are stuck after a while and need encouragement to cross.

In 25 years, I've never ever found an "in human" spirit. They were all once people and I can see that. I did have someone I knew with an attachment. This spirit manipulated his thoughts (because he allowed it) and the person became very depressed, drank a lot, did drugs, became addicted to porn..etc. He told me that he was so lonely, any voice seemed like it was good. I helped him to get rid of the spirit but it was still a man who had died. Not an evil demon. :) Wow sorry about the long post. I hope that made sense :)

Yes they do. I had a horrible experience on a spiritual retreat in an atmospheric mansion where I (stupidly) invited any spirit to show itself. That night I had a terrifying experience where I woke up to a face looking at me. It wasn't a nice face - it was yellow, had its mouth open in a sort of scream, and it spooked the living hell out of me. Intuitively I asked for protection from my guides, and a short time after this I noticed the shape of a large, thick cross on the ceiling. I didn't visualise a cross so I knew this wasn't my own thoughts. Spirit were showing me they were protecting me. It has never happened again. If I'm ever worried about what I see I ask for protection and picture white light around me.

I feel like Medium_Laura kinda answered my and everyone's question. I know your story sounds really outrageous and horrifying but it sounds like a "personal" experience. Meaning that what you saw might not have been any spirit or entity. Sometimes Shamans and really great black magicians can conjour up what Buddhist call "Tulpas" or Thought-forms. There was a story of an American journalist back in the 20s who watched a Tibetian Black Magic Ritual performed. He saw the manifestations of so-called "demons" which resembled anger, fear, hate, lust, etc until finally it formed into the Ultimate Evil Spirit manifested. Recently on one of those Paranormal shows a black magicians conjoured what he called a "shadow" demon which was basically a manifestation of evil in his house because he was screwing around with that stuff. It wasn't an entity. It was just an evil energy. Demons from what I have gathered are not individual entities and have no power and no individualism, and no self-consciousness.

Now back to what I was saying. You basically saw the devil. I don't want to get all religious and spooky because I don't believe in the whole archangel-pitch forked goat legged monster. But there is an energy, or a consciousness that is as cosmic as the Christ/God which is referred to as "Satan" and it is one energy, one mind. That is why Jesus called It, The Evil "One" and Buddha called it "Mara" but Mara's legions of demons were actually his own manifestations. Basically you saw a manifestation of Satan/Mara which usually comes to harm people or keep enlightened Saints from reaching oneness with God.

The psychic Edgar Cayce once said that Jesus might have had a previous life as Zoroaster's father named "Zend" who wrote their religion. And in Zoroastrianism there is just one evil being named Ahriman and he created all his demons because they are all aspects of Itself. God who has created the archangels from his own Being can give them individual will and existence, Satan who creates his own demons from Itself can not give it individualism, thus all evil in the world whether it be in mental illness, physical diseases, negative ghosts, demonic tulpas/thought-forms (Like you experience Starbuck), self-destructive habits, or ego-identification all contribute to one evil spirit which in Hebrews called Satan, Zoroastrians called Ahriman, Buddhists call Mara, or Christianity calls the Devil, Its all the same,.

Just tell you guides to always watch over you and any name in heaven such as Jesus the Christ Himself, or Buddha, Saint Francis, or the Virgin Mary can protect you. I advise that you do not call forth any spirit. You could have also seen a really mischievous ghost who wanted to scare the **** out of you. Remember spirits whether dead or alive always have that power inside (we all do) from thought. Spirits can do crazy things. Even some humans as I mentioned by the black magicians.

I actually started two threads on my experience soon after I got back from the retreat and one of them was to ask whether what I saw could have been a thought form. The people who replied though this was highly unlikely, but I still considered this possible as I had a bad stomach ache during the night and had a nightmare where someone was sqeezing it, I woke up and that's when I saw the yellow face. Yellow-solar plexus=stomach. It sticks in my mind, for sure. I don't believe it is Satan though! I certainly don't intend to summon spirits again :)

It would make sense if it was a negative thought-form. i wouldn't think it was Satan. That energy only appears to souls on the verge of becoming unified with the Christ Consciousness. (I.e.- Buddha, Jesus, St. Anthony, etc).

Then again I don't like the word Satan because of what it has been given. Anytime you say it it sounds so silly unless you understand what Satan is, and not what people believe "He" is", because it is NOT an entity.

Yes, I do believe spirit guides and guardian angels protect us. I always ask for protection when I do healing for others. I was told by someone wishing to send me healing energy that she encountered swirling white angel orbs all around me.

I also close a healing by asking any spirits other than spirit guides and guardian angels to go "into the light", that they are not welcome. A few times, when I have failed to do so, later that night or the next night, I have encountered negative energies (either in the form of spirit energy or spirit person).

One of these times, my guides told me to "send it love" and when I did the negative energy disappeared into the night instantly leaving a trail of sparkles as it left. The air in my room became light and I immediately fell into a deep peaceful sleep.
