This technique may or may not work for beginners. It depends how open your imagination is and how long you can stay in these dream like states at a time.
You need to be able to focus and bring yourself in a dream like state using the technique I will show you. I have another thread on communication with higher self. Practice that one and this one will come easy.
WORKING WITH YOUR SPIRITUAL COUNCIL
Imagine a round table or a flying saucer above your head. Let your
awareness be drawn into this space, and get an image of the circular
convening your council of spiritual peers. Take a seat at the conference
table. Notice whom you see. Do you know any of them? Can you describe
the other people? Are there any historic figures present?
Define your most pressing question. Then join with your council and
give your soul's force to the group mind. Notice that everyone else is giving
their essence as well, and the knowledge of all the souls from all their lives
is blending together.
Place your question in the center of the group and release it. Let the
group mind digest the question.
Perfect guidance will be telepathically transmitted back into your mind,
and you will know it either immediately or later this week. Return to your
body and open your eyes. Write about your experience in your journal.
