Focus 10 and Focus 12 are Monroe Focus Model terms.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_level
I wouldn't get too hung up on them.
I'd stick with mastering Focus 10 first... from there Focus 12 is a natural process.
I'm not sure what you mean by P1 to P2 though.
Are you referring to Frank Kepples model? Focus 1 oC and Focus 2 oC?

Phase 1 and Phase 2? Probably Focus 1 and Focus 2. I thought I understood this until I got through the sections on Focus 10/12 and then a whole bunch more of Focus numbers came up in the readings which were never explained.

What is confusing? Perhaps I can help assist you in clarifying things?
This also helps me in that I'm able to take that clarification and see if I'm lacking something in my own writings. :)

I don't have the material handy right now but basically, from what I recall, Frank's first reading (the one you wanted us to read first) discussed the different phases where Focus 1 was the real-time - our time and Focus 2 was our created Focus, etc. Only when I got into a few later topics in the series did Frank started to talk about Focus 10/12 and quite a few more but they weren't as clear as the first four with definitions and examples. Maybe I just need to read a Monroe book or find another Frank article that talks more in depth about them so I understand them better. These later Focus' sound interesting and we all go through them. I've gone through readings 1-12 and then your Primer. I haven't read the new one I just received that you wrote the other day but I will either tonight or tomorrow. Anyways, I hope this answers your immediate question. And thanks again for a great website and its reference sources. Oh...one last question: Where is Frank?
Edit: I am looking at this link you provided: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_level

Started reading your new PDF file last night. Thank you for clarifications on the Monroe levels and Frank's neatly tying in the different Monroe levels to 1 & 2. I am sure as I continue reading clarity will continue and I'll eventually become a well-taught student! I am still reading these materials at the head of my other readings so I am finding this more interesting for sure!

As Frank would say, "to get out of the body you'd have to be in the body in the first place." This changes the whole direction and concept of OBE's and how to master other realities besides our physical.

Just remember, don't buy into anything you read outright... always remain open but skeptical.
In the end, it's your own experiences that will provide you with your own truths... not the truths of someone else. :)

The idea is to wake up with your eyes closed, and your body perfectly still.
Then, you can either just lie there hoping to shift back into the non-physical... or initiate a visualization of some kind which should shift you to the non-physical.
