This is just one of the many tightropes we must walk … and face. “Belonging” … in all its forms and promises … is heavily taught and widely promoted … even more so in todays world. “Individuality” … or perhaps … “independence” … more often than not needs to be rather guarded … for those around us … stranger and friend alike … can turn upon us any time for “not belonging.”

The conventional and traditional teachings are what they are … the teaching of the basics of living within the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds … they are vital to the learning of this … they are incremental or progressive … which isn’t so apparent while immersed within any of them … they are absolutely necessary … they are what grades kindergarten through 7-8-9th grades are to high school … and those that move on to study college level courses … and on into grad school … bachelor degrees … and doctorates … are more and more rare … much more difficult to find.

The truly advanced teachings are somewhat hidden … because they have been pushed underground by those who prefer to teach and maintain the established, conventional understandings of life. How many spiritual greats have been put to death … even in the early days of bringing out some of today’s “sacred” teachings … now conventional … but in their day … many were persecuted and killed. It didn’t take long for those truly advanced to go silent … one … because they were not believed … and two … for self-preservation. One does not outwardly and haphazardly “shake the tree” of the traditional and conventional. It can be disastrous.

This “silence” does not make it easier to find those who have truly walked the advanced steps on the path … and when the conventional and traditional are made even more alluring, acceptable, and attractive by garnishing their precepts and codes … more and more are pulled back into the studying the “new” interpretations of the “old and conventional” teachings. It has gone on for millennia.

Those who know a bit more of the advanced steps … can be found. The best way to find them is to ask … “where did you come up with such beliefs” or “what’s the basis for your personal stance” … or something along those lines. Many of them are here to help sort out the masses … find those that are more sincere … if they are more serious and true to their teachings … they are not here to heavily promote … to gather … to form their own groups … certainly not to profess their “superiority” … or to be flamboyant about it.

Most of them will quietly throw out insights … see who is interested and who is not … who is *earnest* and who is not … and offer clarification to those that seem devoted.

A precept of the higher teachings is … that they are *not* here to “save the world” … but to help you get yourself “out” if it … which means … earn your way up to the 5th Plane where discernment becomes a way of life … where the confusion and chaos of the world does not overwhelm you … and where you can begin to assist others that wish to find those proverbial “ending steps” … which *can* be found. I have said a few times … the “path” is *not* designed to have no “answer” … to be unknowable … to be impossible.

Granted … it’s tough. In fact … it’s *more* than tough.

And to “get there” is not what most think or believe … mainly because most try to make that extremely high level of attainment still within the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds … within mind … and it’s *not* there. Since living or interacting with the Pure God Worlds is so vastly different … a distinctly contrasting approach to understanding and living one’s life “there” while continuing to live “here” among the established practices … one truly learns to live in two worlds. One can surely hold to the higher understandings of and within the Pure God Worlds … but still must use mind to a more disciplined level because that is what is “used” within these Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds.

This leads to the individual Soul being able to hold to Its perspective wherever It finds Itself … under whatever conditions and situations It finds Itself in … and can stay there … in the “center” so to speak while all else whirls around outwardly. It is *not* a complacency … or a passivity … but an ever-active stance that takes decided effort to maintain.

For those that are familiar with the Bible this is addressed in Matthew 13…..”Why do you speak to them in parables ?”……and goes on to speak about eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear. The teachings are not really hidden…they are in plain sight. But without interior work they are not comprehended. Without specifically stating it this interior work is surrendering the ego and being ‘born again’. This is the path to to new eyes, new ears.

An analogy would be to consider optical illusions…..what appears as 2 d morphs into 3 d…..when looked at in a different way. That new image was always there….our normal way of seeing and normal way of thinking is not really open to the unseen(which is not actually hidden). In the case of the Bible to see this, hear this, comprehend this is an act of grace and that is only given to those that are worthy….ie…those that have done the interior work.

Technically and ultimately this is not ours to give…..the old adage applies….”You can bring a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.” The ego always remains as the danger on the spiritual path…..the more one learns or progresses the more careful and mindful he must be.

As a corollary to this think of the books that you love. It is the good ones that you return to multiple times and they often reveal new insights. It is your progress that enables you to see things that the first reading did not reveal. If we dated each part that we underlined we could have a timetable of our progress…..:)

Yes … outstanding point. It’s somewhat of a take-off to the old “chicken or the egg” question … but in this case … do we learn to grow … or do we grow to learn?

Mind will dance in delight to wrestle with such “either / or” issues … but let it go … and just DO it.

When you read actual *new* information … it puts mind in somewhat of a daze … we tend to push it away a bit … but it very often begins to churn and expand inside … many times quite unnoticeably. Later we come across other references to the “new” information we wrestled with … but we find that many of the puzzlements have settled … we can now see what we probably meant … and even beyond … which in turn leads to another foray.

When we tend to push unknown / unfamiliar information away … it should be an immediate red flag … up to the level we are able to learn and understand … pushing gently forward … broadening the perspective.

If and when someone truly wishes to begin to explore the Great Beyond … you must try to understand that the prime perceptions of Soul Itself is vision … and hearing … neither being interpreted by the physical body … but both being a discovery of accurate spiritual vision and hearing … to see and hear with the spiritual senses … not the physical body senses.

A few of the forum members have spoken of “light and frequency” being the abilities of Soul Itself. I would simply suggest to broaden that a bit into Light … and Sound. “In the beginning was the word … “ … was Sound … and then Light … both of which have been filtered down into the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds into the myriad of manifestation we interact with on a constant basis.

Therefore … if one wishes to learn … one of the best “ways” to ask … is … “Help me to SEE … SHOW me the way … SHOW me the limitation … SHOW me the approach … and then help me SEE it.”

Vision many times preempts hearing.

Seeing … however … can be an inward or outward expression … to show it to us. One may be asked to be shown a limitation … and then LIFE will bring forth a number of scenarios that will help you realize the golden thread that runs through all of them … and hopefully … help you SEE that connection … and again hopefully to help you see the reason for and the corrective measure for.

But there must be a sincerity in asking. Asking does show LIFE what YoU are interested in … asking shows LIFE that YoU are willing to express an interest in finding out. Asking shows your readiness … not to tell LIFE what it is you wish.

There is a great deal of truth in … if you do not ask … you will not be shown … and to ask … “How do I protect myself from everything so I am never confronted by anything” … just doesn’t work … or any variation thereof … which would be endless. You must *know* what it is you ask.,

I have said before … mind will always find a question … but there is a huge difference between “Help me … Save me … Get me outta this” … verses … “Show me what it is that keeps bringing me back to this response to life situations and show me how to understand and work beyond them.”

This … often takes time … but some can be resolved rather quickly if you are willing to see what LIFE will try to show you … because it may *not* come in written form … or with surrounding flashing lights that suggests “Here it is … pay attention.”

Please remember there is a *huge* difference between perception and perspective. I have suggested a number of times … especially during revision … you must “get above” your issue in order to gain an overall perspective over it. Here is an example … to athletes down on the tennis court heavily engaged in the game … that … is perception … they are *in* it … and they are *doing* it. People up in the stands … they are outside it … and have an overall perspective of it … of the athletes … of the stadium … of the crowd … etc. They are “outside” of it … looking in. That is perspective verses perception … being outside of it versa being involved in it … being outside the forest versus not seeing the forest because you are inside of it.

LIFE … is subtle … and one must be able to perceive the subtle and act accordingly. We so want “information” shown to us in distinctly recognizable forms and ways … but to interact with “The Spirit of … “ … is just not that way. LIFE often shows you “ghosts” … so to speak … symbols … little scenarios or sequences that “stand for” what IT is trying to show you. The farther you walk into the Path … the more “stuff” will be shown to you this way. Intuition is just one of the faculties that are used … and often a beginning one … that gets better and better with … wait for it … practice … leading to discernment in its acceptance and use.

There is a difference between Truth … and knowledge. Knowledge deals with what is going on around you during your current lifetime … the advancements, beliefs and practices of the societies, cultures, within your entire world … the data or information that can be amassed through conventional, popular, available offerings. Knowledge … changes … with the advancement and status of the world you live in.

Truth … does not change. It’s purpose is foundational … and so … all else is built upon it.

An example of a Truth?

Soul … is Soul. No matter what It prefers to believe about Itself or the layers of Life around It … Soul is Soul.

Inner security comes from knowing Truth … not knowledge … since knowledge will always change according to current patterns within the varied cultures … and Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds. Mind will always juggle … tossing possibilities and options into the air like so many colored balls. Many are delightful stances to hold to … others … not so much.

Truth … puts you into a strange predicament. It is *not* easy to hold to actual Truth while everyone else almost believes in its opposite … or its variations … and seems to do quite well regardless. Such is the discipline necessary to walk the far steps of the path.

The path is to teach Soul Itself to hold to Its Truth no matter where It finds Itself. If all of this takes places during incarnations after which Soul Itself has discovered Itself … the individual knows to quickly adapt so as to “blend in” to the culture or society It finds Itself in … and then carries on to assist Life … to the capacity It is capable of … holding to the higher sets of teachings and principles … revealing the latter only to a few. Greater Truth … is NOT … commonly taught. All one has to do is look around and see how much discussion / resistance is found on even the most basic of concepts.

The Law of Silence is much more than just “not speaking” … or finding a quiet space to rest for a while. One must earn the right to be offered the higher teachings and not spread them out to the common surroundings haphazardly. Another aspect of the Law of Silence is to never reveal direct experiences with an authentic Master to others. These direct experiences are given to YoU and *not* to be shared. The higher one goes … the more strict is this demand.

It is difficult enough for those who walk the more advanced steps on the path to get the basic approach of focusing more on the “I will do” more than the “I will not do.” We are taught to focus more on what we do not like … the pains … the displeasures … the losses … the squabbles … the incompatibilities … the differences … that lack of power / control / capability … what we would rather have … the missing supply … how lousy this-or-that is … how difficult it all is … the endless comparisons … how this person is not acting the way * I * want him / her to … etc … endlessly.

We are taught … to complain. Holding strongly to not being sexist here … the resistance against complaining is difficult enough for a male … but the “design” of the female … being based more on the emotions … finds this even more difficult. It is tough being either … but business, politics, and societies prey on the female because they are more easily swayed and led via their emotions. The “emotions” are given to all … but they are stronger in the female so as to tie the female to the infant … which she has been given the responsibility of bearing. Men have their emotions and we have our wrestling matches with them … but begin to lean more towards the mental approaches … which carry their own lessons.

The male-female relationship is not only to bring children into the worlds … but to assist each of us to “face” our opposite … snd hopefully to learn from such experiences.

When you do inner work … or even during the nightly dream state … you do not “travel” anywhere … you are simply shifting your awareness … it is an aspect of being-ness … you are being “there” and not “here.” Soul Itself is doing this … while still encased within Its various Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds bodies. One tends to “design” the “outer” body on the other dimensions most often conforming to the current physical body … but it is very common to have a different “outer body” on the other dimensions … all done instantly … one most often designed by YoU during other journeys to the same dimensional area.

The dimensions are *huge* … much bigger than the physical plane … faster in vibration so as to be more refined in form … and one can “go” to the various locales within the dimensions according to previous experience … or perhaps you are “taken” there by someone wishing to offer that experience … and certainly … you can venture into the unknown even at the dimensional level.

Things happen so quickly on the other dimensions that it often amazes us. The physical is very slow. Activities and experiences can happen instantly on the other dimensions … especially the astral plane … which is governed by the emotions … and most have a very good glimpse of just how quickly the emotions can change ones perspective even here in the physical.

All states are “lifeless” unless and until we put “life” into it by our focused intent … and we apply “one-ness” to it … bringing ourselves into harmony and identity with it … and then we “live” it … all instantly … and much … again … due to habit. When we go to the local mall … we tend to go to the same stores. When we go on short R&R travels … we have a small handful of our favorites. We know what to expect there … what we need to the … how long it will take to get there and back … etc.

Same thing with our travels into the other dimensions … most predominantly into the astral plane … and since the emotions can color our feelings and perceptions so quickly and completely … we often bounce around in the astral plane experiencing all kinds of things. There are tremendous areas of beauty and happiness … all balanced by incredibly murky and scary areas. Some are symbolic … trying to “show” us something about ourselves. Others are just experiences there … much like our physical travels.

We have a “life” there. We have had many, many lifetimes there … going back each night or during out-of-body journeys … we have friends, residencies, jobs, journeys … all holding to “as above so below.” Others are as familiar with us “there” as our physical companions are “here” … although just how often we have experiences with any of them don’t seem to be the same. In other words … we may see someone on a daily basis “here “ … and rarely see them “there” … and to make it all the more adventurous … it can be just the opposite. If you remember that the astral plane is the “home” of our emotions … and remember that these emotions can change on a dime … they can vault us off anywhere anytime … on the astral plane.

It all seems very fanciful and free … and many times it is … and we learn as we experience. It is complicated when the mind tries to figure out the “why” and the “how come” … and we forget to just be where we are and learn.

Since we are taught … trained … and tend to focus on the negative here … such as what is wrong … what we don’t like … who bothers us … what we are incapable of … we tend to get drawn into the negative arenas on the other dimensions too. Again … as above … so below.

Our “inner self” is just as real within the planes and dimensions as our “outer” self in this world. Since it is unnecessary to coddle the physical body on the inner dimensions … we have different approaches and reactions … but still tend to follow what we would do “here.” With practice … “there” as “here” … we learn to control the emotions and the imaginative forces within each of us … and we learn to be more disciplined … maybe balanced … perhaps consciously directed within the emotions and forces … and it is through this discipline that leads to greater freedom of self. We don’t get ourselves into as much “trouble” by going overboard on or during some experience … either for or against.

Slowing down our reactions so as to actually decide how to react in our activities … on all levels … on all dimensions … is the name of the game. We can try to “count to 10” before reacting … or any other reminder to pause a bit before reacting. We can go in and revise our nightly dreams to come out in our “favor” … as long as we remember to revise how WE react to the experience … and not how the other must behave. Yes … if *we* react differently … then the other more often than not will too … but it is for *our* purpose in how we react to life … and *not* how we can make others react to our wishes.

In essence … within the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds bodies … we are totally reactionary creatures. Whatever LIFE bring into our experience … we just react to it … and with hundred of thousands of previous lives … we’ve got a few “preferences” on just how we should react.

Many … are valid. We don’t want to sit down and try to figure out just how we should react to every little detail of our lives. Our “preferences” are often valid and assistive. It is often the knee-jerk responses … the flashpoints … the total change in character for us … those need closer scrutiny … but they are often so defensive that we feel completely justified in using them when necessary. They can take a *long* time to revise.

LIFE will bring such experiences into your life again and again … until you do.

The advanced steps on the path bring a complete revision and change to ones perspective … *not* simply perception. We have always reacted to the outer … using the “inner” emotional and mental habits we favor … until we *very* slowly learn to not deeply, slavishly, helplessly … depend on either person or things … in other words … enormous detachment … putting *value* into what is around us to the level of being governed by it.

No … this is not meant to lead to complete defiance … or eradication. We can enjoy … for what it is … during the time we are experiencing it … but we do not *define* ourselves by our experiences … or by anything else … except for the Core Creator God … by Divine Spirit … and by Soul Itself. We are … as Soul Itself … individual aspects of Divine Spirit … not separate or apart … just individual … independent … with much to learn … because without Soul Itself … and what each and every Soul brings to the Whole of LIFE … the Lower Psychic / Metaphysical Worlds would be empty.

Everything we do … inwardly and outwardly … adds to what is around us … for ourselves to experience … and in assisting the ongoing maintenance of all other group manifestations.

We have no choice.
