In this day and age
We have so much
We chase, we need
We desire and rush
We move so fast
We want, we crush!
Compete with the world
Compete in such a way
Have to have!
Have to say!
I will, I can!
I want, I know!
In a race with time
In a race with flow!
In slowing down
Not just in a forced homestay
But as every single
Experienced day
You return to the place
Where your creation reigns
In truth of yourself
At the front of this strain
In every way you are and need
No distractions imposing
Upon your seeds
When you slow right down
Where emptiness burns
Into the creative fire
Of the self that’s learned
How to ‘just be’
Without rush or need
Without force or push
You will find those seeds
That call you from within
Where no other reigns true
You as the source
Will move to this tune!
Look at your life
From within as you need
These beautiful bountiful
New found seeds
Everyone around you
Where you rush to partake
Where you want so desperately
To be a part of their race
Cannot sustain you
If you alone cannot see
The self disguised in others
Hidden by drama and pain
Hidden by social demands
That give worth to your name
In the centre of your being
Lays ‘enough’ as I am
Lays the bed of your creation
Waiting to wake
To the real plan
Having stuff, having enough
Having to do, having, ‘I need’
Will suppress the truth
Of all those beautiful waiting seeds
That simply move from a place
That in stillness of its life
Sees the truth of its nature
Sees the truth it hides
Emptiness dancing
Moves as the unknown, aware
Looking through eyes
And a heart that deeply cares
From its own authenticity
Where you no longer are contained
By the illusionary battles
When life calls your name!
You wake up each day
And a simplicity is born
Where you smile and give thanks
To the new day dawned
Where you as the ‘creator’
Create a life in this way
Slowing down to the rhythms
Of your mind/body/spiritual day
Where all of you is listening
Not distracted,
Running from you
From the life that you are
From the life as this view..
