From new age to Christianity, having problems with demons

Lilith is usually considered to be the mother of all demons. From your handle, I presume you were deeply involved with this group. It is therefore not that surprising that demons are still around. Perhaps changing your user name here would be a good idea, you can ask the admins/mods to change it to something more fitting.

I don't know much about Lilith, but supposedly that name comes from Lilitu, a collective name for malevolent female spirits that were much feared in ancient Sumeria. They mostly targeted men (as sexual predators) and children (by oppressing them).

Did you consider signing up for an exorcism with the catholic church? The waiting list is long, but it might be worth doing and waiting it out.

The fallen ones are unfortunately very real and they do try to influence people on the surface of the planet, sometimes even torturing them. There is a way to drive them away on your own, but it requires skills in spiritual warfare that are beyond most people.

I'm not a Christian myself, but to put it in Christian terms, you need to discover, your inner self, your inner holiness, your connection to God, the divine. When you learn to connect to this Self, you can then gain access to the power of heaven. This is very hard to describe, but it is like a blinding white light, resonating with love and compassion for all. If you allow the light of heaven into your heart and let it flood your body and soul, and your surroundings, it acts like a shield, that drives away malevolent spirits. They can't even come near you, as long as you radiate the Love of God from every pore of your being and manifest the Holy Spirit as your lived reality.

I know it all sounds cryptic, but if you try it, you might find you can do it intuitively. Also, archangel Michael is the chief warrior of heaven, who specialises in battling and defeating demons. It is worth trying to invoke him and ask him to intercede on your behalf.

Lilith was my old identity, it doesn't matter anymore. People used to advise me things like this and I was so eager to resolve my situation that I went to the extreme and threw away everything that was linked to the occult. But see, that kind of life is impossible, because occult is all around us. Besides, thinking like that mean that I shouldn't even be on this forum. That kind of life is against Jesus IMHO, because it doesn't contain love for all people. Running away from all the worldly things made me depressed even when I was into eastern philosophy or minimalism.

As for Catholic church. I've met so many unstable people there that I decided I'm staying far away from it. I just don't trust it. Exorcism seems bizarre and violent.

As for archangel Michael. I used to work with angels while I was in the new age. Now as a Christian I asked God to send me His angles to protect me. I honestly have no idea is this Biblical or not, as I see huge debates going on about it. Anyway, ever since I was into white magic I've seen blue sparkling dots like orbs around me. I still see them today and I don't have medical condition. I have no idea what that is.

Yes, I'll quote myself "I've been calling on to Jesus' name so many times when I get pulled out of my body in astral and demons torture me. It doesn't stop. Yeah, I do get mad at these evil spirits. I used to have compassion to all beings, now I'm just fully frustrated. I know I sound like a victim, but I see myself as a survivor and I hope I have victory in Christ.

You say "I prayed and prayed for these OBEs to stop and they never stopped, I still have OBEs even today." Can I ask you how long were you involved in the occult and in what way? And how long are you a Christian? How do you manage to keep your faith strong through this test?

Although, I'm tired of talk because I'm a solution oriented person, but I feel exhausted emotionally and spiritually.

Ohh, I see, yes, I've been through something like this and it was horrible.I felt ashamed for this very reason, I asked people everywhere to pray for me and even after this I had encounters with those nasty things.

I was never involved in the occult, I did nothing, absolutely nothing, I only learnt on my own that from sleep paralysis I can leave my body, it's a self discovery made by me while I found a way to relax, it took me years to learn to relax and when I finally did it, all those nasty experiences disappeared and then a new kind of nasty experiences appeared, this time happening in the spiritual world. I've been a christian all my life, born and raised as an orthodox but there was nobody to point me to Christ, my family does not care about religion, one day, because of my great suffering ( I was around 16 at that time ), I decided to seek answers and this is how I started to read the New Testament, I was amazed by His teachings.I gave up on my faith several times, I could not make sense of my own suffering and the suffering that's in the world, how could a God that's the very definition of Love allows so much suffering? I must say that I hated the Creator and finally after all these years, now I am 24 and I am standing with Christ, but let me tell you this, Christ is found in all men, you are not a victim or a weak human being, if you believe this, you will continue to suffer, the essence of the Creator is found in you, it is found in all men.I understood that all those nasty things have no power over me, no power, they can make me to suffer only if I allow them to do it, you have to be courageous, to give up on this "victim" view of life ( sorry if it sounds harsh ), you are not the victim.I used to even have 5-6 nightmares every night, this kept for weeks, it was horrible, but I stood strong.

I too see orbs sometimes, they are orbs of light, they appear and disappear very fast.

I don't want to appear as difficult, just honest, so, what you are saying is a new age Christianity, Christ consciousness and so on. It is taken out of context. I mean, we've sinned since Adam and Eve, this is a fallen world. We killed Jesus. I do get joyful sometimes and radiant, but most of the time I'm realistic. I see so much craziness and pain in people around. So, trying to be divine messed me up into creating a false persona, an ego defense, trying to be Christ (God) like. Thanks anyway, I'm glad if it works for you.

Hi lillith, i think such attacks have increased a lot recently as a lot of what goes on is happenning all around, so it can help think it's not just you going through the issue and being targeted in isolation. i think it can help to see it as a shared problem we all face more now and this bigger picture is part of overcoming it personally too, because isolation is one of the ways you can feel less able to overcome.
i would try listening to spiritual music like cathedral or gregorian chant or praise music, something that connects you spiritually. music is powerful!

I don't believe in the new age stuff, to me Christ consciousness simply means having the mind and the awareness of Christ, it's that inner state where you are in unity with the Creator, where you do the works of the Father.I never tried to be divine, I don't even know how that could be achieved.. You know, the whole purpose of the teachings of Christ is to make man to be Christ like... Look at the apostles before knowing Christ and then look at the apostles after knowing Christ, they became Christ like, giving their lives for others and for Christ.Now, look at the most christians nowadays, they "love" to judge and to accuse, how many of them are Christ like? I shared my out of body experience, where I received a message from Christ ( He told me that I will find Him where my treasures are stored, check Matthew 6:19-22), on a christian forum and they said to me that I do drugs and that I work for the devil, that I am deceiver, nice.....

The eleven and Paul, Peter denied Christ, Toma needed proof, Paul was blindly following the jewish leaders doing all sorts of bad things, when Jesus was captured, all the other ran away, how do I know this? They were chosen before the foundation of the world, so they were apostles even before becoming apostles, but let's say that before fully knowing Christ, they were disciples of Christ, then they became apostles with "full rights".
