I understand about 'not knowing' but really knowing where the energy comes from for this!!! Sometimes I surprise myself when I'm talking to people about kids & how I feel about how they're being raised these days. There are times I get so upset I can't even talk! lol

Raising a child on a path of spiritual awarness and development requires WORK. This type of selfless service is rare Daisy I agree, sad but even parents are consumed with their own selfish desires. When they finally see the benifits of selfless service the child is 18 or older. May I add its never to late to right a wrong, or correct our mistakes.

I do believe it takes a villiage to raise a child, but I should know who's in the villiage for the sake of my child.

Love to all..

I have to say, i never met a "bad" child. I've met children who were treated badly and have an intuitive anger at this treatment which can be perceived as badness but I never met an actually "bad" child. Same goes for adults really, we're all born good anyway - never met a bad new born baby.

I also know that although I consider myself to be a "good" parent there are times I lose my patience and do things badly and thats with the luxury of having a wife who I love, two boys who are beautiful, healthy and happy, money, a job I enjoy and pays well and a lovely house with amazing views over a valley and food on the table whenever I want. Also my parents showed me how to be loving and supportive by being that with me. My heart goes out to anyone who doesn't have these things because I know from my own experience how miserable it is not to have any of these things (apart from the good parents who were always there). I don't think it's badness as much as a lack of knowledge of how to make things better on both the parents and childrens behalf. What do you think?

lol...dreamer, I've had some kids who might make you question this belief! *hehehe* just kidding...because I feel the same way. When a child misbehaves it's usually because they've not been taught or have not yet understood the 'socially acceptable' way of dealing with/expressing their feelings. And parents, who themselves, have no clue how to do those things, well, they're at a severe disadvantage in raising their kids. You cannot teach something you do not understand yourself.
