Citrine Question...

I have a friend who uses Citrine often. She only cleanses it by using clear quartz and her healing breath as water and sun damage Citrine.

But her Citrine still gets large white patches in it, as if she has drawn out all the goodness in it she says. Any ideas whats happening with it??? She does carry it against her skin a lot, my only thought was perhaps the oils in her skin are causing the damage?

Any suggestions?

You have answered your own question LOL it's working for her .
I have never heard that water can damage citrine . Sometimes crystals need a bit of healing so ask her to send it some energy . Try sound cleansing or crab apple herbal remedy with water.

Is it a natural piece of citrine or Amethyst which has been heated ?? Just wondered .

I thought Citrine was one of the few crystals that didn't need to be cleansed.

I agree. Citrine, clear quartz and Selenite dont need to be cleansed. But in her case, the Citrine is being used almost 24/7 and I think now that she isnt allowing it time to recleanse and recharge in combination with the oil of her skin having a chemical reaction.

SHe has LOTS of negative energy around her and combats it with Citrine, I think she is literally sucking the life out of it without realising.

Yeah citrine doesn't need to be cleared. I think neither does Kyanite. I think it's a chemical reaction from my feelings.

i wear my citrine 24/7 the reason i conected with it was because of the specks inside it it shone all over the shop .... they became stronger the longer i wore it the citrine does not have to be cleared but may be a bit of white light if she is concerned its picked up some negative energy
