Well, damn, Robert. That's true.... I have done things though, I guess it's from years of living with a demanding person.... I don't think I ever loved him really though, but after him, I have proven myself to others.

No i could not.
All I can do is love them.
The other then evaluates and decides if it's love or not.
It's the other who classifies what love is to them, not what I think love is to them.
Proving is not necessary.
AllI can do is express what I am doing is my love for them.

Proof of love is in receiving / feeling it... and that is not in your control for someone else.

I think love cannot be proved it has to be accepted on faith. Faith in each other and in the shared emotions is the love.
