A suggestion regarding polls.
Can I make a suggestion.
In the FAQ section where there is advice on 'how do I create and answer in polls ?' it would be handy if it was mentioned somewhere that the poll is limited to 100 characters. Otherwise one could go to some effort drafting an OP that they intended to attach a poll to, and have already submitted the thread (as is the procedure) before realising it wasn't going to be feasible.  |

Woah, really? Is it 100 characters for the entire text of the poll or just per line (or option)? I definitely didn't know this.

Yeah it's 100 characters in total, so an allocation of 10 characters per option, which is only two or three words max. I was going for seven options consisting of small sentences, and even after cutting out some punctuation couldn't get close. Obviously I couldn't compromise too much, having meticulously constructed the options  . It's not a big deal, just would've been 'handy' to know beforehand. |

Ouch. This means it is genuinely impossible to create a decent poll for "what religion(s) do you identify with?" You'd need more than 100 characters on that one for sure!
