Swedenborg and Life
Without going into long specifics, this guy was the worlds genius in the 1700s and in his later years underwent many spiritual experiences. Since that was heresy at the time, he had to publish anonymously until he was caught at age 80. His diaries, which are very much in line with his published works, were published 50 years after his death.
Now, I have been reading him after becoming interested by the You Tube group "Off THe Left Eye" that has an hourly Swedenborg and Life every monday. Pick a topic that you are curious about (ex. suicide, how angels communicate, what happens after death, etc.) and give it a shot.
What is fascinating to me is that he explains things that we hear about every day now, and many things that I've even gone through. All of it is bible backed, but it takes the spirtual approach to the bible, not a literal approach--and he clearly states it matters NOT what religion you are.
I bring this up because this has been truly changing my life, and I know it has others, so perhaps there are some here that it would help.

Please share. I do not believe in organized religion and his views are a spirituially that rests with my spirit. I believe that's why it's helped so many. Many do no not know about him. Of course the catholics don't want his stuff getting out. But you can go t the Swedenborg Foundation and download all his works for free...and Heaven and Hell is AMAZING. It's not an easy read bc every sentence will send you into the most pleasureable meditation ...... I think it somehow reminds us in spirit who we really are and where we come from. And though Swedenborg was Christian, he BLATANTLY says it matters NOT what religion, if any, you are! This applies to EVERYONE!!! That was herest back then for a gov't official, member of the Queen's court, and highly regarded scientist in every field. He had to do it anonymously.

I've learned when I go to bed listening to something scary or negative (like paranormal stories) I have a troubled night. Since going to bed lately, I'll play a Swedenborg episode, and I just drift right off......since I have always had chronic insomnia this for me is proof that what we feed our minds, we feed our bodies!

Curtis does a good job on the Monday night shows. I like how he does it live and you can participate in the chat by asking questions.
