There are lots of sites on youtube that show you how to do EFT and probably lots more sites on using EFT to quit smoking.

Thanks Iolite

So I'm in the business of quitting smoking, as you do. On one hand I absolutely LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE smoking, it's like dubstep, only better for your health lol

I just tried quitting as of about three hours ago, and it took me three hours to get to the point where I'm like, 'stuff it, just gonna smoke'. I'm not sure my commitment is of the highest, I'm not the most disciplined person in the world, and usually go about through whim and fancy, which I guess doesn't help with the commitment.

I've quit about two times I think, in the past. I quit for three months, took it up again for about a year, then quit for about 6 months, then took it up again for another year until now. Before that I smoked for about three years non-stop.

I'm not sure how to do this anymore. I thought this was so solid. I thought this time it would be it! Gosh darn it's a pain in the back-side lol (Censorship rules lol)

I get points for that Kaere lol

Any advice as I want to get this handled in terms of furthering spiritual growth and general energy levels?

Blessings,

EL

I hear attempt number 2,983 is the best attempt...

Now I can not tell you what it's like to give up smoking because I do not smoke. I can tell you what it's like to give up an addiction. As I have done that numerous times in the past.

Most people smoke the most during stressful times. Things not going well in their life they end up smoking. A bad day at work. Smoking. Etc. Now for a person to give up smoking. Well they need to find something to fill that void, or find another way to outlet their frustrations. If you have a bad day and are unable to cope with it. You are going to resort back to smoking to help manage the stress that one experiences from said event.

I don't have a particular spiritual angle on this btw but I understand there's a book written by Alan Carr that loads a people rate up when quitting.

EL sometimes when we try to change a behavior we skip the prep stage and dive straight into the action and ... well .. it is never gonna work. You are obviously in the contemplation stage ... now prepare for it ...

I recently did some training and the facilitator told us that was her last training session because on the following Monday she was headed to Europe ... on the $20,000 she had saved during the last 4 yrs of giving up smoking!

Points, pfft

The advice that I would give you would be to be a little kinder to yourself while you're working on quitting. You seem to think that not smoking for three hours wasn't a big deal... but I see it that yes, it was a giant deal! How many smokes was it that you DIDN'T smoke in that time period? Give yourself a gold star for each one, don't take them away like they didn't exist in the first place it isn't all or nothing, cold turkey is hard to do. See the positive in what you're doing and build on that.

Would you tell someone learning the guitar that all their hard work over three hours was nothing special because they messed up the last chord?

Hi e man he first thing is that the reason for quitting needs to be 100% 3 D to you. Mine was not so much health or finances but more to do about addiction and attachment. I was kind of forced into it as a result of my path.
The Alan Carr method is a very good resource tool to quit, you can get the book, audio cd or attend counselling. They work on rewiring the brain in regards to changing your habit and the results are impressive. Squatchit also gave up using this method.
If you want to take the easy road there is a drug out now ( not zyban ) that you would need to see the GP for ( sorry I forgot the name ) but it has a 3 month course. What it does is tap into the brain and suppress the receptors that are stimulated by nicotine. I know a lot of people that swear by this method as it takes away a lot of the withdrawel
symptoms.
Whatever way you go all the best pal and just remember as an incentive that giving up smoking adds 4 inches to your penis size

Champix e man Champix is the name of the drug. Apart from growing a tail........ few side effects and no psyhcoactive side effects

Yeah, that's true. It's also about healing the root cause of why you have an addiction. I've given up a few in my time, this is one of the remaining ones
