Statins Exposed
Statin use for high cholesterol is examined. Allot of EXTREMELY DANGEROUS side effects.-
http://people.csail.mit.edu/seneff/w...ally_work.html
Dr. Mercola has stated that any statin perscription that didn't include instructions to use supplemental CoQ10 (Ubiquinol for those over 30 years old) was malpractice in his opinion as statins so deplete CoQ10.

Think of all the highly touted pharmaceuticals that have been pulled off the market. Remember the HIGHLY ADVERTISED Celebrex that was pulled off the market? These were pulled as the benefits were FAR outweighed by the dangerous, even deadly side effects.

I remember reading some useful advice to avoid taking drugs that were less than 10 years old to avoid untested pharmaceuticals.

I could give you a whole lot of info on statins. My son-in-law and I have been gathering this information for a while now.

NS - why have you been gathering info ?
I have been taking statins [plus other meds] for 10 years or so following a quad heart by-pass. My blood chemistry is nominal. I am past my "three score and ten", I still roam the moors and go to the gym 4/5 times a week. What dangerous side-effects ?

I went off cholesterol statins a year ago, after extensive research with my s-i-law who is a natural therapy dietician in USA. He found heaps of research that has been done on statins re LDLs and HDLs. The hdl's are the goodies and LDL's the badies, but the body needs LDL's to function properly. It's all hype and there is absolutely no study that can back up that taking statins decreases heart attack rates. In fact the statins mess with the body and have side effects.
You can go do your own studies on this or I can send you on the info ive gathered via email.
