not sure its time that makes trees last longer more the speed at which they move i mean look at tortoises they move relatively slowly and they live a loong time perhaps theres a lesson in that our society should slow down to last longer i cant speak for something elses perception though

do older living things percive time as going slower?
I think if we look back at when we were young and remember how LONG summers lasted we see a clue that the perception of times speed is relevant to how long we have experienced time.
If I am 5 years old, then 2 months would seem relatively long to me and seem to last forever....as opposed to if I was 50 years old.
So the perception of time as we get older is faster IMO
