The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle

This book has to be one of the most powerful, life-changing books I have ever had the pleasure to read, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Been reading it on and off over the past couple of weeks, and finally finished it today. The feeling of peace and sense of knowingness that I now have (for want of a better word) is amazing! I think I finally 'get it', lol!

Now I have to start living it.....

The book is a classic.

Have you ever seen any live video recordings with Eckhart Tolle? I think that there are some live conferences available on Google Video. Even merely listening to his speeches takes you into a place of deep, deep stillness. Really amazing..

Yes - a truly enlightening book - a bit like Zen (being in the present)? Offers a real, practical way of overcoming negativity, hangups etc.

Thus it is that the Energy and Light and Spirit that is God, moved, changed and contracted, and time was born. 8. The sun rises and sets, the moon waxes and wanes, and goes through its phases, the earth revolves around the sun and through all these changes arise cycles, phases, seasons and times. But to move to God is to move to stillness, quietness and the eternal Now.’

This is an amazing book, and so full of passion for life. It took me a couple of readings to really take it all in, but the message is wonderful and I'm really trying to be more "present" in everyday life. It's not that easy though!

Hey All,

Yes, I agree, it is a great book. As is 'A Course in Miracles' from which a lot of quotes were taken.

I love sharing this with people most nights in chat, and hope to see you there soon.

Live it,

Bob23.
