nature sounds don't really help me relax they just keep me from falling asleep lol.

We are all different. What works for one person, does not work for another person. The beats did not do anything for me.

Did you listen to the nature sounds without listening to the bird sounds. If I listen to the sounds of the birds it keeps me awake as well.

Haha it is so funny how you admitted you chickened out.. It seriously happens to almost everyone they want to AP so bad but as soon as they get into vibrational state the first thing that happens is they get scared and change their mind. It is good this happened now you need to deal with what you are scared of. Fear has no place in astral projection and needs to be dealt with. I am not going to lie every once in awhile the same thing happens to me. I don't get scared but I go to sleep intending to AP and then vibrations sink in and I think to myself actually I don't even feel like having the chance of being hassled with an unfriendly negative entity. Honestly you do not have to worry about that though, it's rare.

Listening to a CD can help you ap. I know you know that. The hard part is finding a CD that works for you. This morning I listened to my CD of thunderstorms, rain and ocean waves. I did not ap from it but it helped me to get into that relaxed state of mind. I noticed my mind was relaxed more than it normally does. When that happens I know I am going to ap somewhere. A lot of times I do not get obvious vibrations to know that I am about to ap. I have to be very aware of the slight sensation or otherwise I end up in a dream. This morning I ap again and again. It is really good when you do ap. You makes you feel really happy. When I do not ap for a while, it can make you feel not very good. For those people that may be thinking I do not have anything to look forward to and that is why I want to ap. It is not so. I have a lot to look forward to in my life.

Idozer Astral Projection works good for me. I don't AP, but get into a deep meditative state with it.

That is great you can get into a deep meditative state. You should be able to ap. Have you tried an ap technique?

This morning I ap again. I noticed my mind was getting more relaxed. I did not listen to the CD. I thought I can get my mind relaxed without it. Is anyone else able to ap this way?
