I just put one of the dogs out and the sun is trying to peek thru. It won't last long, but I'll take it!! It's supposed to be 65ish today. We'll see. 70's are coming next week!

It's 6:24 am, Pacific Time, Western United States, and I've been up for about an hour already, have my coffee in hand and my trusty hound dog next to me on the couch. Just went and picked up my son from his graveyard shift, and it was a chilly 55 degrees F, but the moon was beautiful, a tiny sliver in the sky, and what looked to be a bright star quite close to it. So I tell my son, look, it's either a star or the space station, and he says, no Mom, it's a airplane. Now I'm driving, right?, so I can't stare at it, but I say anyway, No it's not, and he says, yes, I can see the wings.

He noticed my slight disappointment and said, you know, one of these days, I'm going to just tell you, yes Mom, it is a star, or an alien, or whatever, and leave you to your daydreams...I thought that was quite a lovely thing for him to say.

Good morning! I always wanted to ask someone that lives on the East Coast. Do you get Letterman and The Tonight Show at 11:30 at night, like we do, or do they show it when they tape it (I think they tape it at 6:00 or something like that).

I always wondered, who can stay up to watch those shows, besides teenagers who are vampires - stay up at night and sleep all day.

I don't know why I care, really, but I have always wondered.....

Well the clock says 21:23 and so it is 21:23 in my book and time to switch off the computer.

So it's goodnight from me, and goodnight from him.
