well it depends how you look at it.
you experience sleep paralysis in 2 ways.
1:you consciously experience sleep paralysis.
2:you un-consciously experience sleep paralysis.
no, you do not have to consciously experience sleep paralysis in order to project.every time when i project, im already unconscious of my physical body before it falls asleep, thus, i do not experience sleep paralysis at all.
some people will keep there mind alert of the physical world until there body falls asleep, this will induce experiencing sleep paralysis consciously.
so either way, your body will go into sleep paralysis once you fall asleep or project, its all up to you whether or not you will experience sleep paralysis, it just depends on your method used.
try this, next time you reach the vibration state, just relax, dont get worked up, stay calm and try to visualize something.it can be anything, visualize anything you want.i find that once i hit the vibration state, my visuals become very vivid and real, i dont even have to try very hard to see everything in crystal clear detail, its all just simply there.so once your visual becomes clear and vivid, your basicly out of your body, all you need to do from here is maintain your focus and awarness within your visual, with in a few seconds to a few minuets of doing this, you will eventually notice that the world you imagined takes form and becomes independent of you, you will be free to explore your world, it will be just like a lucid dream.if you want to project into this 3d reality, just set your intent to come to this plane, then simply let it happen.
