Now that's a very good point, another way of looking at it is mybe Mark genuflected more than Luke, that definitely wears the knee joint down and quite embarrassing when you can't get up off the floor, a 'Staff' would be a Godsend in those circumstances

Sky,
Exactly…..that is the value of that different translation. It allows you to see a deeper meaning. If we were dedicated interpreters of the Bible we should be able to see those things…..without the help of others.

They disagreed on how many men were in the tomb also, one or two?
