Hello annonafox!

Well, the tidings you bring are a ray of hope for all of us then!

SF is a vibrant spiritual website, far better than the others around. All members want it to continue. However, if the admins cite personal reasons for closing it down, there is nothing much to be said about it. Personal is personal!

What I gather is that it’s not a problem of funds (offers to contribute are aplenty) and not about devoting time (admins have done a fabulous job and others are willing to run the next leg of the relay race, if that’s what it takes).

My personal view is this: In the troubled times we are going through as a collective whole, sites like SF offer solace, learning, outlet for expression and self actualisation, along the inward journey. As such, my vote would be for it to run. But it’s not a poll!

Glad to make your acquaintance and hope to see you around ... if we all remain around!

I just dropped into the Chat Room to find members there......so nice.

I will be starting to do "Readings" in there again shortly if members wish that. We have a few Readers here that too could offer that valuable service.

So nicely and beautifully said! You are right---this site is a haven for so many, now more than ever. In time where so many of us feel at a loss, where we are going through this collective "near death experience" in a sense with this horrible pandemic, we need and want to hold on to the places, people, experiences that make us feel human, whole, loved. SF has provided that and then some. I am very happy and relieved that SF will continue....... It has a strong and warm heart, and it's still beating!

That’s great Lynn!! If there are over 19,000 inactive members I can assure you that will be slowing down the site incredible amounts.

so glad that you are all in discussion to keep the site going, I have been in contact with Lynn in the past to give suggestions on possible ways on how to keep people engaged, it is important especially as we move through theses unprecedented times sites like this are available for many many who find comfort and sometimes valuable answers with like minded souls seeking spiritual growth too, if its a financial struggle then like me I am sure that members would be willing to donate any little bit they could to help keep this great site running.

I'm so pleased SF isn't going away. Thank you so much for your messages and decision to keep our SF family going.

Lynn,
I'm happy to drop in to the chat room to offer readings when I'm free. Could we start a thread in the members only section to announce when any of us readers are going to be there so folks know they can call in and grab a reading. It may encourage more people to visit the chat room too.

So glad to hear that SF will continue!!! Very much is about to happen this autumn (I have a feeling), and a spiritual forum is very much needed.
I have been away from commenting here for some years, very busy with other things. But will be more active from now on.
