I ask so few questions lately!
Why ask?
Why wonder?
It is another trick of the mind.
Where does this love come from?
Maybe tomorrow I will ask.
But, today I will again do nothing.
Today is for holding this love like
A child with it's teddy bear, thumb in mouth.
You already have my other hand,
Take me wherever You want, Lord.
I have no questions, You lead.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

Under these circumstances, I'd stay in bed all day too, Miss H. If fact, I think I will!

I'm sorry.
You probably have better things to do.
I'm sorry.
I have bound You to me.
It's Your fault;
It's You Who are a slave to love, after all.
Ha, many don't realize...
It is You Who are the moth.
But wait, You are also the flame.
You are so transparent, Lord.

Oh, so You decided that in my waking
Moments it wasn't enough;
You thought making my chest ache all day
Wasn't enough.
Now, you have decided to enter my dreams.
You better not show me our Oneness
In my waking state around people...
We've had this talk.
It's never enough for You, is it?
Don't ever change.

I see clearer each day.
It used to see clearer each year.
Yes, it was my focus and desire
That took two steps
Closer to You, Lord...
But, it was You that crossed the Universe to me.
You leapt.
You took my breath away then...and so many times since.

Sorry for typo in the above poem! 'It'...'I'...

You take the last step.
But, it's more of an open armed reach
Bringing us closer, pulling us into You.
And what do You ask in return?
That we want You.
What kind of a heart do want?
A child's.
No, a lover's,
No, a friend's
No, an equal's.

I've seen all the sunsets I need.
I've smelled all the fresh cut grass.
I've thrown all the balls I need for dogs.
But what I haven't gotten enough of is that spark
I see when lovers have their first kiss.
Or the Tinklebell light when a puppy is born,
Or the flashpoint when someone gives to the street person.
Or the second the wind touches the ocean surface
But hasn't yet caused the swell.
And why is that?
Because You are there in these
Flashes of sheer transparency.
You are in a rock, a sunset, the smell of flowers...
But, in these Your power is not quite so hidden.
These are the dawns and twilights You
Can not cloak Yourself so easily.
I am so glad I can take them with me.
Such is the power of moments cherished.

The entire page of poems you have posted, Miss Hepburn, very lovely. Heart achingly lovely. Teddy bear, equal, we've had this talk!
