Wow, I'd seen this but never gave it much attention and didn't realise it was vegan. Right -that's me chocolated-up for the next week then! LOL
Thanks.

I'm curious. Why don't you consider fish to be meat? "Meat" is simply the flesh of an animal, and fish are animals.

It's not exactly chocolate, but it's the best ice cream bars ever. Even better than non-vegan

I'm just making the distinction to be clear about what I eat. Most pescetarians say fish but no meat. They'r just labels as far as my purposes go. I have to eat fish for health reasons, I'm not disputing the fact they are living beings and/or animals. I wish I didn't have to eat them but I have chronic health problems and a healthy vegetarian diet made me much worse. I don't wish to debate about this because I know and understand why I've made my choices. We each do the best we can.

I don't eat fish either for that exact reason

Great job Starbuck! You care enough to do as much as you have is pretty amazing.

Uh, I wasn't debating you. I had a legitimate question and also explained why I was asking. I even said I was curious. If you didn't want to answer, and it made you feel defensive, you shouldn't have. Meanwhile, I stand by the reality that fish is meat.

And I completely agree that we each do the best we can in our unique circumstances.

It didn't make me feel defensive as I know why I've chosen to eat fish. I actually agree that fish is meat, I was just separating the two to make clear what I eat. Doing the best we can is all we can do!

Thanks. I wish I could do more but one less person buying animal meat has to count for something.
