It don't get better than the Garden of Eden.
Don't know about anyone else but I'd be mighty proud of that even if they throw it all back in my face and go on to become murderers.

I have been very cautionary concerning pride. But if I am wrong and pride is a good thing is it a sign of spiritual progress ? I can understand it as in indication of earthly progress but it remains difficult for me to perceive its spiritual value. Should we work to be proud ?

Imo...
Pride is neither good nor bad, it's a Universal Human emotion and we should work to use it in a beneficial/wholesome way, rather than work to 'be' proud.... |

I am aware that I don't know the truth....I just have opinions and speculations. Not even 100% sure about Jesus. He just seems like the best of the bunch.
