Perhaps he/she was bringing you a lesson in appearances, and judgements upon first sight. To even teaching you about shadow self/fears. To even perhaps you projected a certain appearance upon them.

I saw something with red eyes a number of years ago. It was huge. Standing about 7+ feet tall. It was using a language not from here and was trying to tell me something. Very terrifying, but I somehow knew he couldn't harm me. I have no idea why it showed up, but I was at the time going thru a divorce and carry for my baby. Maybe stress brought it.
Perhaps stress brought on the red eyed dragon?

The pooka seems to fit the description, seems a harmless nature spirit. Looks like we have known about these for a long time but just box them in the mythology section.
They have known to be benevolent so making friends with it doesn't seem like a bad idea. Maybe if you say the right things to it you could make it your pet? |
