did not seem to exist 2000 years ago, the word truth has two meanings depending on who wields it, just like the word FAITH is another fancy word for trust and is often misused to serve whoevers agenda needs it! |

It's pointless arguing with people who don't believe in a higher, ultimate Truth as to what Truth is or is not, or if it does or does not exist.
The non-seeing veil consistently envelopes the being, rendering he/she unable to see more than their thoughts dictate - either through fear or plain ignorance (ignorance as in not knowing, not as a perjorative term.)
That is why, I believe, the Christians have a very useful phrase.
"By thy fruits will it be known."
And those fruits are consistent with that spoken of in the halls of wisdom...in the halls of transcendental knowledge...even if it is unspeakable too.
I do believe it is more honest to be honest - to say "I don't know," than to try to postulate falsehood for something someone has not yet experienced.
It'd be like arguing France is a myth because one never saw it for oneself.
At least, leave yourself open to the chance of discovery.

This is not my experience. Doubt arises from mind; it arises from fear. We have countless opportunities and there have been countless avatars across a multitude of traditions, backgrounds, even religions, who have explored the truth and not found wanting in their faith of that which is beyond words.
