I am part of the Land and have been for several lifetimes. I expect to be returned to this Land in the next turn of the wheel. I cannot envisage being anywhere else. Even if I go on holiday, like visiting my daughter in the south-east, after a short while I feel the tug to return to my moors.
I wonder if this is due to my guide being rooted there.

If I had to venture a guess...it would be that your Spirit simply has no real desire to go wandering and exploring (elsewhere).
You (my Friend) are like the Mighty Grandfather Oak...who has had his roots firmly planted in MotherEarth for many generations.
