If you make a salad with leafy greens like endive or lettuce or so you really need a big bowl.
A few months ago I walked by a terrace and saw some people having a salad eating from big bowls and then I thought, oh, is that how they eat their salads these days.
So I bought my own big bowl for salad and it does make it much easier to make a supersize filling salad. It's much easier to mix everything around without worrying that things get over the side.

I wasn't brought up with things like that. I was used to serving the salad in a bowl on the table and then have some of it on your own plate. I was grown up with having your meal on a plate.
So I am leaving that concept partially and switching to eating more from a bowl. Works great, especially for raw food.
