RE-reading this thread brought back a memory. When I was 7/8 years old, I joined the Junior Public Library and one of the first books I read from cover to cover was "The Young Chemist". A book of simple experiments to do at home [thinking back, some were very dangerous ]. Anyway, a couple of months later I did my first experiment - growing a cubic salt crystal. Eight years or so later, I was a Junior Chemist with Imperial Chemical Industries and remained an Industrial Chemist for about 35 years.

I will share my own experience here.
I think the books which will have positive effects on your life and can change your life style,are written by Paulo Coelho.He writes on reality and spirituality.So you must read these books.

Loads but The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle was the book that really started my spiritual journey.

'The power of Intention' Dr. Wayne W. Dyer........I love this book, it made so much sense to me......It's like a bible to me.......or was for quite some years....
