Reading for Pisces Moon

Currently waiting for a train and away from my cards - but my gut says it is tooootally a movie sesh and a bit of pampering :) I get the feeling you guys want to be able to sit closely together and be able to chat easily - and that your daughter might be overwhelmed by loud noises. Are you guys the touchy feely type? I got the impression of lots of hand touching, etc.

I'll have a go at this one (I like these fun ones!)

I should have pulled some cards to try and ascertain how many people you are meeting - oh well, too late now!

The High Priestess reversed, the Chariot, 9 of Pentacles.

The High Priestess is my "law" card. Meaning, it's someone who has studied long and hard, they've got specialist knowledge ... being reversed I'm wondering if they're just coming out of doing a degree. Or, being reversed, maybe they've recently come out of a relationship.

The plot thickens ...

So I pulled Knight of Wands, King of Cups and 5 of Cups reversed.

I'm guessing they are recovering from a relationship disaster. Possibly with the Knight of Wands, they met them whilst travelling, or it was someone who came into her life very quickly and unexpectedly. In any case, they appeared to be very spontaneous, probably quite competitive, loud and hot headed, but lacking commitment - the type of person who gets bored very easily.

The King of Cups ... hmmm ... a bit different from the Knight of Wands. Someone who had problems with their emotions, possibly someone worldly and well travelled but they guarded with their emotions, or lacking emotionally in some way. I wonder if they had a problem with depression or drinking too much.

And the 5 of Cups reversed, I think shows the High Priestess reversed going out, starting to come out of a period of isolation (getting back on the horse maybe), starting to recover from a ****** relationship.

So the next card was the Chariot.

I think someone else you met is very driven, ambitious and successful. A hard worker who likes to build on his security. He may have his own business, or if not, is very successful in his field. He's probably someone who likes to take on challenges to advance his career and would enjoy doing courses.

And the last card was the 9 of Pentacles.

I think this is a woman who is very successful and wealthy. She's self reliant, independent and enjoys art and music - she definitely likes the finer things in life. She could also be self-employed. I think she is single - or if she's in a relationship, they live separately.

I have no idea if these cards are three people, or parts of any number of people, but that's what I got anyway.

Could I get a bit more info on what you mean by this?

In the past, it appears that you almost felt powerless within your relationships, as if you would go along with your partner's wishes even if they didn't align with what you truly wanted, a sense of losing who you truly are. You (metaphorically) closed the door on your own autonomy and allowed the other partner to have the controlof your lives together. It may have been that you feared that the other person would squash any kind of individual ideal thought you may have had, carry this forward.......

Correct! Most of them were emotionally unavailable and/or I was desperate for it to work out, so I’d try to avoid conflict wherever possible.

This has made you a lot more shrewd in how you view potential partners. You don't go for 'first impressions' anymore. Online dating sites have your guard up, as if you are trying to see the truth behind the profile. You currently take nothing at face value (hahaha I can almost see you cross examining any potential match, looking for where they may have stretched the truth). You are under no illusions that online dating is a minefield for finding honesty. However it seems you are, not so much cynical, but cautious, if something doesn't sound right your guard goes up.

Also correct! My online-dating bulls*** meter is top notch ;)

I'm not so sure if you really are entirely comfortable with the idea of a 'relationship', (Hermit rx). It seems that if an actual relationship presented itself you would 'run for the hills'. I think this is more to do with getting back on the dating horse. You desire the companionship, but not the complexities of a full on relationship, I feel this is more to do with slowly putting yourself back into meeting new people and enjoying the company of a man who is not going to want to tie you down (I do mean in the metaphorical sense not literal , although I am in no way judgmental, whatever floats your boat).

I had to take a bit of time to think about this. I don’t like dating casually, but at the same time I’ve got so much emotional baggage and trust issues that the next guy is going to have to be a) interested in something serious, but also b) willing to be patient and go slow. It would be a lot easier for me if my next partner/relationship isn't intense early on... “Complex” stuff like talking about our feelings, long term goals we might do together, introductions to each other’s friends and family etc would definitely freak me out. At this point, my ideal relationship (early stages, anyway) would be a series of fun Friday night dates and some texting during the week rather than talking every day and spending a lot of time at each other’s houses.

The conflict in you stems from putting your faith back into men, when your subconscious is telling you to take time to do some healing (this could be why you feel sick looking at the dating sites )… I'm getting a really strong feeling that there is someone already with a 'connection' to you who is interested (romantically) in you, however you either don't see them in this sense, or it is someone you haven't actually noticed yet, but they have noticed you.

Cheers for the all the advice and the detailed read! There are a few guys who have expressed interest via online dating websites, but I’m not interested Outside of these guys, I have no idea but I’ll let you know if anything exciting happens!

Is there a bunch of people you're no longer super-close with? (4 of Wands rev, 5 of Swords rev) These two cards kind of say that there may have been some disagreements in the past and so you've kind of parted ways, but I don't think the energy's too bad... but noting that there's a bit of post-argument tension in the air.

I also feel like you've been working pretty hard today, had a few things coming at you, all wanting your attention! (7 of Wands)

Almost right, we're having a movie night and pamper sesh at home (Les Miserables, face packs and pina coladas). We are a tactile family, lots of hugs, snuggles and such so you picked up on that. We do have tickets for a concert too, a belated Christmas present.

It feels like getting back in the relationship game is going to be your turning point. This being the time when you come to realise your strengths, standing up for what you want from a relationship and boosting that self worth up a few notches. I think you have unconciously set yourself ground rules this time round.

Hmmmm, did you go to a 'singles mingle'?

I pulled 3 cards, Ace of Swords, 8 of Coins, 7 of Wands.

I'm following Pandora's lead that this is 3 separate people. The first you found you could be quite open with, intelligent conversation and no side stepping of issues, refeshingly honest and quite witty too I think, this is the 9 of Pentacles person
The 2nd I feel is a student like you. Definitely has ambition and is working towards it with determination, but you found him boring, only topic of conversation was his career ambition,
The third, ooooft! Not your cup of tea at all, overbearing, high opinion of himself and acts like he's Mr Popularity.

So a hit and miss mixture of people
