Those were breathtaking, gorgeous.
I wish I had some self-taken pics of my home state, Pennsylvania, it is every bit as lush and green and gives you the feeling of being in a church, now this is truly holy.

If you have Google Earth, check out Hildago state in Mexico (and nearby states).

What makes Mexico interesting is that is has a lot of different landscapes, from temperate to tropical. From mountains and coniferous forests down to lush rainforests. Variety!

Hmm, not odd at all..!

In Scotland but also Norway, one can find many similar places like that. The only difference is the (amount of) vegetation.

Chrysaetos: Those pictures are absolutely stunning! If those are yours, could I use one as my wallpaper?

They're not mines..

These pictures are from Google Earth. Most of these pictures are from Hidalgo state so have a look there. I could help you find specific coordinates if you can't find it.

If you found one, ask the owner. Sometimes the owner does make a copyright sign, most of the time not. It's their responsibility to add a name or copyright sign to the picture.
Google allows you to see them on the internet, but you are not allowed to sell them or use for commercial purposes. But if you want the picture yourself, best thing is to ask the owner.

Here are some nature photos I have taken through the years. Enjoy!

My back yard in autumn:

The rest are from a local nature preserve:

Your 'back yard' is so beautiful, Justin.

I'm glad you revived this nature thread.
