Be well..

That's just it........there is no ground. It is groundless. At least that is what rings true in my bones. How we communicate or even pay attention from there is not something I can tell you but I can sense communicating and observing and feeling remain.

Then the question remains... Who is observing, feeling and communicating? ... without a verbal/conceptual answer.

I don't know but I know enough that the question cannot lead you to an answer other than 'you' or any other form of 'you', be it 'I am that' or 'love' or 'true self'.

You're making an assumption, my friend... rather than simply silently looking to see.

That's just it.. you've already made your decisions.. just keep paying attention, and looking at "ground" as an issue worth the quibble, won't be worth the quibble..

It is "worth the quibble" though, to look at your belief that "there can be noone there to notice", but 'you' find others there and notice them..

Be well..

See actually it is just the opposite. It is what I see. You cannot sit 'silently' with a question like this. You are doomed to create an answer. You can simply sit silently and see what arises. The difference is subtle and yet huge.

If you think you can't sit silently after asking the question it means you believe you can't let go of a thought or of involvement with the thinking mind... but you can.

I don't know how this got turned to be about me. All I am saying is that there is something off within this. It is no different then saying "I am love" to me. It even seems to contradict all else that you say that rings well in my ears. If that's my problem then so be it but I looked pretty deep and I cannot find the cause within me:
i am 'that' which chooses to still that chattering or believe the noise it makes.. 'i' am the evolving experience of 'me', a uniquely manifested version of the Whole, experiencing its own existence through the creative diversity of the Cosmos..." Tzu

I am saying the very definition of sitting quietly is with no intentions. I am saying that if you sit quietly believing that there is a seperation between you and your thoughts and thinking mind then that is what you will find.
Just sit quietly....................see/feel what arises and let it go. Observe life, see/feel what arises and let it go.

I am not my thoughts and thinking mind any more than I am the hand on my body.

We agree on this, James.

I'm asking... are you willing to go a step further and simply see who or what is seeing and feeling, without a conceptual/verbal answer?
