Good luck on your quest

I was not born NA. I have not even visited America in this life. Didn't matter to the Elders. What matters is what I have done for the tribe in former lives.

So if you was adopted out, your probably have more roots than me anyway. There might be some surprises ahead for you.

Wow! There are many Cherokee here. My great grandmother was Cherokee. She died when I was young. I don't remember much about her except she that had the most beautiful long black hair and a strong love for family and the earth.

I wish I could have gotten to know her better..

Cherokee here too :) My great-great grandmother was full blooded. I wish I had gotten a chance to meet her and hear her stories. I have always been interested in our families native american history. You can still see the mark their genes have left on the family with the high cheekbones and the dark hair.

Tuscarora Father, Swedish mother, born in the US, raised in Aus. I don't claim any 'connectedness', since I was raised in a family that didn't 'discuss such things'. *sigh*

You can take the blood out of the land but you can't take the land out of the blood. The connection is there guys, you just haven't sensed it yet.

My ancestors on my mother's side were Native American, Cherokee or Shawnee we think.

Other than that, I really don't know of any connection to a Native American tribe, except feeling a pull towards the Seminole and the Inuit.

Lakota Sioux here. In south dakota we have the Nakota/Dakota/Lakota Sioux divided into seven tribes. I'm in the Oglala Sioux tribe.

I have always had a deep compassion for others and animals, despite having a tough childhood. Although, I did desensitize or block my chakras because of childhood. I'm on my healing journey now.

Everyone born in America is Native American. A lot of us call ourselves American Indians or go by nation or tribe.
