If it's not that it's ego ---and I don't say 'my' ego...it's just ego to me.
Is that according to Jung -probably not, I don't care.

Interesting revelations which I agree with.

Your ego is the centre of the field of your consciousness, so any suggestions on what is not ego would be welcomed.
If you're going to understand the ego then you have to spend time with Freud or Jung, if not you'll get another thread of not much more than Chinese Whispers. When you see posts where people have made up their own definitions of the ego and have become experts in that, that is how their egos operate. All of that is ego, none of it is Spiritual and even less is Right Thinking or Enlightenment.
If you want a Spiritual perspective then you need to spend time with Ahamkara, and if you need a good example of the "I of invented things" in action then a thread about the ego never seems to fail.

The clever ways we try to make ourselves appear above our own ego at times. Self deception.
People choose to label happy, kind, selfless, spiritual, etc, as "positive and egoless" and sadness, selfish, angry, pain, arrogance, etc, as "negative and egotistical(in some cases)". Not realizing such labeling is done out of a fearful, egotistical mind.

It gets worse. Spiritual people - not being self-aware enough to not realise what's going on - redefine the ego as the bad guy then declare they don't have one of those. There's a whole lot of personality issues going on, such as attachment and detachment, or even plain old denial. And not just ego imprinting of the self but the ego imprinting a Persona on the self as people declare themselves 'Spiritual Beings'.
Jung would have a field day.
The thing is, the ego to most is a personal definition that creates their reality.

“Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.”
Einstein
The discussion of what isn't ego IS ego, the differentiated consciousness of the ego is the one of 'this and not that'; ego/not-ego, Spiritual/not-Spiritual.....
"Sat denotes being beyond Sat and Asat. That is, Reality denotes being beyond Reality and Unreality.
Chit denotes being beyond Chit and Achit. That is, Consciousness denotes beyond Consciousness and Insentience.
Ananda denotes being beyond Ananda and Ananandha. That is, Bliss denotes beyond Bliss and Unhappiness.
What is it then? Even though Reality is beyond Reality and Unreality, it must be admitted to be Reality only. Same thing with Chit and Ananda also. Compare with the termJnana, Knowledge. Jnana is the state beyond knowledge and ignorance, yet Jnana is not ignorance but knowledge. So
also with Sat-Chit-Ananda."

From outside the solar system. EGO in my universe was Jupiter balancing on Uranus- Mercury Jupiter. Or 5-7–1-5, Or Vishuddha-Crown-Muladhara-Vishuddha a powerful gravitational code for planet governance, covered the E grade in schools systems or Pentagon systems by 5 coding. E,5 or vishuddha. At high balance it’s a wonderful chakra energy system when used safely. Prefering 47 systems for sensitivity overall.

How do you make that out?
How can one possess these 'things' without a 'you-ness' or 'I-ness'
engaged? They all need acknowledgement of things other than self which makes the self separate from them.
Please explain.
Thanks.

Ego is 'the person', anything outside of that isn't ego. It is said that we are much more than a person, spiritually. From what I understand, different traditions have different beliefs about the fate of the ego/person upon enlightenment. Some say it is extinguished forever, others say there is still something unique and a personal perspective that continues to be used.
