i don't really have any choice about learning certain things: god punishes me until I aquiesce and get the point lol...
well I'm kinda 'blind' to the astral and to vision-oriented meditation in general. I do better with 'feeling' or 'sound' so I often get stuff from the 'real world' rather than go on vision quests. When I was young I said to myself 'the world speaks to me'. Of course the drs have another name for it so I'm known as a schizophrenic lol... just as well I'm known that way as saying that is a good way to scare away anyone if I start to take myself too seriously! |

The life review with the 'elders' is reported by many, and your comment matches what they describe. But I sometimes wonder about the logistics of this. Apparently 150,000+ people die every day, which must keep these elders very busy. Although time on the astral has a different quality to Earth time, so perhaps there is no difficulty fitting everyone in.
But there are also reported life reviews where these elders are not present. There is simply the individual and their Higher Self, and the individual reviews their physical life in the loving presence of the Higher Self.
And I am sure that I have read that in certain cases a life review is not necessary. Perhaps some individuals are sufficiently aware to assess their own actions and the consequences of their actions while physically alive. But a life review would still provide a greater perspective on why things happened.
It could come down to our level of development. Some people need the guidance of elders, others are sufficiently familiar with the process to self-evaluate.
We will all find out for ourselves at some time. And maybe I will discover that everything I have ever written in SF has been completely wrong!!

''It" is neither dual nor non-dual...what word could be used? Omnipresent, pure and simple, I'd say.

My take:
The system of cause and effect kicks in ...or what goes around comes around..or...the natural system of teaching...
not God punishing, He adores you!

well actually i do believe that, from my own point of view! I was just talking about what it looks like from within the point of view that I feel like most people would have lol... but from my own it is like, all this 'punishment' as people would call it is actually not a bad thing at all... so i could see god as 'helping' me by making me go through it... not that that makes it any easier though... lol... |

I get it. :)
I'm big on words being SO powerful, so powerful...placing 'word reinforcements'' into the subconscious mind is like a thing for me.
I can't even joke anymore - words, (even thoughts), are that powerful.
But, hey, that's just me.
I think it...it happens...oh, the stories I could tell!!!

yeah i understand that. At the same time I understand I'm not myself qualified to choose the 'proper' associations to present to other people... I don't understand all the things God understands. So erring on the side of caution I just present myself the way I need to and if god objects I'm going to find out pretty quickly lol... |
