and when Missionaries went to China, they took Mother Mary statues. It appears that Catholicism assimilated Kwan Yin via Mother Mary so as to get more 'members'.

Thanks, that's really good to know.
I always wondered if most (or even all) forms of the Goddess had the same roots. That's pretty much what the branch of Hinduism known as Shaktism teaches. |

Shining Ones
I was fascinated by your account, which I wholly embrace, as Truth. I have been in contact with The Shining Ones for over thirty years, and believe them to be one and the same as the elohim. Your account of Innana, that sense of loving light, is the same as what I feel when I am in the presence of the Eternal Mother. Your account of the kundalini rising is very similar to an experience I had when I was seriously ill with a life-threatening illness. Unable to sleep one night in hospital, I lay awake gazing up at the full moon. An energy entered into my body and I began to shake; I had inadvertently drawn down the moon and she began to warn me not to trust even my closest friends. Long story short, some friends I had trusted did betray me, causing a lot of trouble with a well-known organisation with which we were members. The Shining Ones remained close to me and when my family were advised to pay their final respects to me, the Shining Ones assured me that "this is not what God wants for you" and I knew that I wasn't going to die.
I've recently been guided to more and more information about the elohim, podcasts, interviews, books, videos...it's a fascinating subject and I look forward to reading more of your experiences.
