Vitamin D is awesome! During the spring/summer, I lay out in the sun every morning for about 15-30 minutes just to soak up vitamin D, it has a huge impact on your health and general well being. I take D3 Gel Caps during the winter, not as cool (or I should say hot) as the sun :)

I totally agree!
I have a theory that all the "winter bugs" are caused -not by the idea that people crowd together indoors during colder weather -therefore pass on germs more easily...but caused by a deficiency of Vitamin D!
There is nothing quite like natural sunshine for kick starting our bodies to producing a lot of what we need. But vegans may have to take vitamin D supplements.I am a great believer in winter sunbathing. And now it's Spring, get out in the sun.
