Seeing chakras?

I know what was asked, and it was answered on the first page (by you, IsleWalker, nonetheless). They said they would be back to the thread after doing some investigating. I asked about auras directly off the conversation you and Yamah had a few days ago, where I saw auras referenced more than chakras, but I imagine anything you say on one can largely apply to the other on principle. I was just curious.

Thanks for that post, shadedragon, it's actually some input I wanted to ask of you beforehand. I hope the OP returns with their experiences soon.

There are basically two techniques for seeing auras and energy, the first being to use your eyes and the second being to use your mind's eye. There are many possible ways to learn how to use either and there are different benefits and drawbacks to each. The main drawback to using your eyes is that you can only see what is in front of you, meaning no remote viewing and no viewing a person's internal energy/chakras unless you peel back their shields (not recommended for novices). The main drawback to using your mind is that it takes more effort and is far less clear.

Regarding learning to see chakras, as I've said there are many ways to learn to see them. The first step in all the paths is realizing that energy exists and that you CAN perceive them. Belief is very important in this case because it will help you bypass the filter your mind places on the world, telling you what is important for your perception and what is not. By believing in auras you are telling your mind 'this is important and I want to perceive it'. Some teachers recommend creating an affirmation to recite each morning and before practice to enforce this belief.

The second step would be to attempt to perceive. To do this, run your eyes along the edge of a person, plant, object etc. Don't let your eyes sit on one place and remember to blink. You want to avoid eye fatigue so that there is no confusion regarding what you are seeing. Typically it should take a few weeks of not seeing anything or of saying to yourself 'i think i see something maybe almost kinda' before you reach the point where you see them. At first auras should appear as white, grey or blue glows, like an outline of fuzzy light. Some people may see colours right away but it's rare. The first layer of the aura is ~1-2 inches off the skin. The second layer of the aura is 4-6 inches off the skin and that's the layer where colour can be perceived. Sometimes you can see a 'shadow' of the colours on the first layer but usually you need to train to see the second layer before being able to perceive colours.

And... well, that's the basics.

I saw my chakras once and only once. They were beautiful what I saw was thousands of small vortexes of color over my entire body and my seven major chakras doing pretty much what the smaller ones were doing but on a larger scale. It was a very weird experience.

Do you think that different people might do this differently ? And that there is no wrong answer if this is how someone naturally sees auras, chakras and energy?

Not every person is the same. One uses one technique, but whatever works for them. But as long as you have a eagerness, aol to learn, God knows and he all guide you in your own way. For me, it just happens. I've seen them dancing, flashing and it was in my room one night, but it was another spirit. I've only chakras on a person as in human/earthly form a couple times, but mostly on spirits.
