Loving 'terrible' people is more of my personal issue...consistently terrible people.
Do I think they are terrible because I don't like 'that behaviour' in my self? Probably.
God loves me with all my bad stuff...why can't I love them!
This one atheist guy died...he was a self professed mean person. In his Life Review..he only did ONE THING
his whole life that the 'Guide' next to him smiled about and said, "Now HERE you really shined." 
He had comforted, hugged his crying sister after their dad screamed at her.
When they showed really mean things he did to people the 'Guide', was SO understanding...saying,
"Yeah, you did this because when you were a boy your Uncle had done 'this to you."
Later it turned out that Guide was Jesus...
I wanna be like Jesus!
Is that asking too much?

Is that the body or soul consciousness. A very obvious statement was made by the OP and it was simply a realization of information, it was revealed. I use to ask it all the time. It cannot be disagreed with but it is also not enteral. One needs to complete the reveal. It is part of the reveal happening and clarity. Imo it's not an answer, it's a reveal. To choose. This is a old thought I relate to, "It is soon realized it is not what is thought." Imo people feel they love (just) well enough and you realize we love the best we can. What I have learned and observed we do not love well enough imo. This is what universe shows us and what maybe we are suppose to see but again that changes in our incarnations. Incarnations are needed for soul. The full reveal happens over many lives gaining understand, why. Is it what soul is learning. One learns from experience and this how soul (spirit) develops.

A synonym would be continual (forever change or unchanging). It is part of reincarnations. We take back or not take back to the spirit realms.

Is that too much to ask?
I would think it's not too much to ask at all if that's what you want to aspire to be like .
( Not sure about cross bit , that might put me off a bit !)
Do you know who I want to be like after I die?
I want to be an Angel just like Jonathan in "Highway to Heaven" and have assignments to help people.
Yes, that's what I'd like to do.
He goes there with love to help all kinds of people and some of them have gone astray in life and onto a wrong path.
( I do of course realise it's only a TV show LOL..)

The whole chapter is great. I think of that line whenever I am triggered by anyone for any reason. It reminds me that I'm off the rails and just reacting to my own fears which are just appearances and so it's not real. For me, I can confirm that knowing the anger is not real really is the first step to getting back to peace of mind.
