I have to disappoint, the mind is an artificial construct embedded into the matrix of this reality. We as humans tune into it at the level our vibration allow us.

“Mystic” is just a another label that some people use to elevate themselves above others and some use the label for other reasons.
The label is meaningless to me and I tend to disregard it as I feel it’s the experiences that they have had and what they have done with them that I’m more interested in.
I mean why on earth would you want to label yourself? Let your actions speak for you.
Just my opinion tho.

I see the word 'mystic' as a description of a type of spirituality. Like the word Catholic or Pagan etc. It is what the word MEANS that I find helpful.

I see a Mystic as one who has an experience of spiritual 'Oneness' at the core of their being, sometimes it's through seeking and at other times it's spontaneous.....
Imo.

Oh, you are not kidding, my friend.
(You and I do agree so often.)
One thing that is not mentioned ---and that is: Being a mystic...meaning having been given knowledge of mysteries
beyond your worthiness...
I will speak for myself...in many ways, your life is ruined.
Like in 1988 having a $40 bottle of dry red wine (today maybe $60+?)...
ruined me for much else.

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru.
