I told my soulmate hubby about my TS and he said that it is easy for anyone who has ever seen us together that we care about each other, and that maybe my twin and I are meant to be there for each for something important in the future. I truly love that man. He is a good friend, lover, and father. He balances me. I met him before my TS was even born (he's 20 years younger than me). I feel that I'm supposed to honor my commitment to my hubby, but this does not mean I have to shun my twin. (like I *could*...) I support them and love them both, but in different ways.

But I understand completely what you mean by feelings of guilt for caring so deeply for another. Fact is, I didn't ask for this connection and about a year ago I stopped feeling guilty about it. I believe God brought us together for a reason. That reason will become apparent at some point. Until then, I simply love him for the beautiful soul that he is.

It's a hard balance to achieve (and I fought it with a great amount of soul level pain for quite a while). But it can be done. Go easy on yourself and simply cherish the men in your life. Don't worry about the what-ifs so much.

Best wishes.
