Its pretty easy. I feel, I am, I know, I do this, I know its about me and my beliefs, one can just leave out the You saying its about others..When your heart is mindful it will know. Gem taught me that lesson. I took it on board and learned so much through this wisdom. Mindfulness of self listens deeper to its own heart speaking and naturally is mindful of others in that way.

The only thing I can be 'mindful' of is a burning candle, my own eyes in a mirror, a pool of water, the concept of a universal divinity...who is not me...

In this day and age, 'mindfulness' is only equatable to 'consideration' and nothing more than that.

It's a common catchcry "you need to be mindful of..." when all that simply means is "you need to listen to me" and I guess I have pretty much desensitised myself to the whole concept of 'mindfulness' over the past 5 years or so...since the term became widely used by politicians and religious leaders to push an agenda...resulting in any associated 'personal guilt' created because you were not being 'mindful' at the time.

*goes and becomes "mindful" of a burning candle instead.

See it's not just religion KnIXght - often the virtues espoused from other schools of thought are also not very virtuous.
