That was nice of you to give a link.
There are so many angles.
Funny - I got on a role after talking to Honza and said this regarding 'the purpose of pain'
in another thread, lol!

Then, I quickly found this googling 'evil's purpose explained' along with many sites: 4 views

I did not click on it, myself.

It has also been said a countless number of times that "God is love"....So people respond by asking "what is evil?"
I am not the only one to bring up cliches in this thread.

''look what happened to them'' - and yet, wiser Jews still love God and do not blame Him.
Go figure.

For those that have not exp'd that God is Love, Pure Love only...
then that phrase would be meaningless and called a cliche, sure.
Those that are persistent in their focus on the bad stuff that happens in the world, not saying that is you, Honza,
I don't think any explanation will be satisfactory, my personal opinion... until some insight
'pours' into their head...often called a realization or revelation or a light bulb goes off!
Why?
Cuz logic just doesn't get ya there...if someone says something 'just right' it can open a person a little, tho.
And saying 'God is Love' is not the right key that opens the mechanism
in the brain that opens The Doors of Perception... for many.

That is the traditional Christian view. However there is a twist to the issue whereby pride is the cause of fearing calling oneself God.

Depending upon who you are your pride can be stubbornly resisting calling oneself God.

It is a sort of "damned if I do and damned if I don't" situation.

Let us not be too simplistic about these issues. There are many factors involved.

And if reincarnation is a fact then the whole idea of the Jewish people being the chosen race comes crashing down. Today's Jew is tomorrow's Gentile. I sometime wonder how many Palestinians today were Jewish in their past life.

Peace

I could never be "God" but I could be "a" God.

It isn't wrong to state that " I Am God ", many Gods there are.

In my understanding God IS Love, a thing we can all feel, call upon and be one with by simply choosing to love.

When I am experiencing love I am being one with God or Goddess if you would.

Amen, Praises

Hi Honza, my old teacher used to say to me, to remove any egoic misinterpretation, whilst here on earth its safer to say "I am one with God"

Hope that helps you as it did me.

For me Monad is a normal thing to work with, I came across the term for the first time around 2005 during a workshop. Everyone there already was familiar with it, so it isn't exactly new
The Monad is what you call on and connect with when you say I AM. There's even a topic here on the forum concerning I AM statements. I now wonder what people think that is about if the Monad is not know by anyone? No judgement, more kind of disbelief that it's unknown yet at the same time used with posting I AM statements.

Anywho, I posted a link last time when someone asked which explained it all, I still got it so here it is again:
