Ah...but you haven't accounted for religion. It was people who insisted Adam and Eve covered their genitals with fig leaves. One wonders what the church motives were. (Well, I've a good idea but that's another story!!)
I'd agree...this hot weather I wander round the house unclothed when not expecting visitors but until yesterday it was far too cold. There's a nude beach a few beaches along. I have been there and you know what, it's more embarrassing to be clothed there. Clothes draw unwanted attention to one.
