Funny! I just wrote on this topic in the Spirituality /sexuality sub forum.

I have a problem when I hear often the word ''embrace''...I know what an embrace is and I will not ''embrace'' a thought
that pops in of hating someone that betrayed me or a thought of worry , fear or dread ...
as I had many years ago before my head left my pillow in the morning!
(Feeling a victim of these thoughts!)
And I know people disagree - but, this is what worked for me.

Freedom of choice, yes. I learned to practice Thought Control.
What worked for me was consistently, gently 'changing the channel' on unwanted thoughts, as easily as we change channels on the TV.
So simple.
New pathways in my brain formed and now these thoughts are RARE ...and
still waved away, by choice; focusing on, replaced with what I choose to focus on - Positive, constructive and heavenly thoughts.

Thank God - what awful things they were!
We have the tiller in our hands that moves the rudder of our boat, I found. Yay!

Prepare yourself for the coming astral journey of death by daily riding in the balloon of God-perception.
Through delusion you are perceiving yourself as a bundle of flesh and bones, which at best is a nest of troubles.
Meditate unceasingly, that you may quickly behold yourself as the Infinite Essence, free from every form of misery. ~Paramahansa's Guru's Guru

@ JustBe ~ Oh! Then you can write down 3-4 times a day maybe, the worries and fears which are disturbing. You are a soul having a human experience. Others are too. Some of these others are your friends or family, maybe some enemies too. All are on their journey. All belong to God alone, if you can accept that idea. You have had innumerable past lives. If you remembered all, to which memory would you cling?

It is all an appearance only. We can call it real or a dream, does not matter. It is transient, like waves of the ocean. To which wave should we be attached?

I recall in 2018 or so, one day I was in silent contemplation or prayer, as usual asking for a this or that blessing for my family from a God I had never seen or known. I received a clear telepathic message in broad daylight and I was standing actually. The message was ‘No one is yours. All are mine’

That’s the beauty about these wisdom insights ~ simple and direct, unmistakable and silencing dissent.

Hello Miss H! As usual you enliven the atmosphere with your unique fragrance!

I use the word embrace as an immersion, a celebration if you will, engaging with life fully rather than negating it. Yet followed by release, like our breath, like the heartbeat, a vibrant pulse, alive! Perhaps the poet in me likes this word! Consider it playful, childlike and platonic
