honza i think this is the beauty of God being attributed with a personality
self-realisation is one aspect, that is tied to the realisation of a personality beyond our own

self-realisation can be taken to imply that there is no personality beyond our own, but whatever it takes we have the chance to encounter

self-realisation is a cocoon that is safe from corruption, yet when we realise that we want more than that, it leads to realisation of what is beyond our self?

Re-Spark of life.... Spiritual life, imo.

In truth I don't know the answer to that. Many Christians believe that to be true. My own opinion is that is might be true.

Apparently those that are not Christian might not be able to know Him according to Honza's thought process.
So Honza is saying any Jews, Hindus, Muslems, Native Americans might be outta luck.
All the Yogis, Gurus and Swamis might be all lying...plus all the Sikhs; Kabir, Rumi, Hafiz and the other mystic poets that were not Christian.

IMO without giving a lengthy explanation….anyone that overcomes the ego will know God…that was the original point of separation….

I wonder if there is a difference between finding yourself, and finding God. Finding yourself would be self-realisation. Finding God would be salvation.

As far as Jesus is not hardcore - I have done a list of things he said to do...and my life now is carefree and easy...for 17 years.
His 'yolk' WAS easy...and like a path or formula to happiness and freedom from worldly 'stuff'...burdens.
