I think morality can be looked at in different perspectives. Firstly, morality is intellectually learned from socially acceptable behaviors and mental constructs that are passed down culturally. What is "right" for one society may be "wrong" for another and this changes according to historical context and acceptability throughout time.
The other sense of morality is more basic, primordial, and intrinsic. I think this is perhaps our own inner compass's defining of what is aligned with Goodness, LOVE, and compassion/empathy VS what is aligned with egotism, malice, judgement, shame, or fear. This level of inner direction goes beyond the mental constructs of "right" or "wrong." It's one of the SOUL's navigation.
I remember a quote that goes, "Morals separate, LOVE unites." I forgot the author though, but this certainly rings true for me. :)

morality is to define what is right and wrong. Its is the determination of what should be done and what should not be done.
