I happen to agree with Marianne's view, quoted in the blog. To resolve the massive issues in the world it will take much more than social/political solutions but correcting the problems at the core... rediscovering our true nature and the wisdom and compassion that come from it.

Well, yes, and the question is how to do that? Meditating while not being involved in worldly things or being involved and do whatever spiritual practice one does?
Is visualizing and praying for a better world more effective than going out and vote, even if that vote may be voting only for the lesser evil?

The trickle up theory is probably as effective as the trickle down one, maybe even less so.

I totally agree.

Serenity69 I think of deja vu as having to do with time. Like either some sort of time loop, or otherwise distortion of time. Then again I do think we are in sort of a matrix of time, and there are timeless places, and such thing as time travel, and that everything that happens is kinda happening simultaneously and we're just experiencing it linearly.

It's not either/or Rin. I hold the idea that working together to solve worldly problems comes from wisdom and compassion of awareness in the truth, rather than not.... since,
as I see it, the loss of inner knowing is what lead to all these problems in the first place.

Hi Rin,

Yes, we are all one - in essence.
For the most part, this has not yet become a fully functional awareness either indiviually or collectively, but it is increasing. In fact, it could be said that all of the conflict in the world today results from ignorance of this reality, as well as the emergence of that conscious awareness in various forms and degrees in and through humanity - including to some as a seemingly far-flung impossible fantasy, and to others a fully attainable reality.
