Stopping trying to know wat it is,
staring day after day,
knowing I will really never know what it is,
as in my lives this place is outplaced:
in some life it was real and near,
in other it was just a distance place,
in all it never left my hope,
but I gave up finding it.

When I was a girl
I believed
Love was out there
And that
I had to find it
I had to capture it
I had to earn it
I had to possess it
I had to nurture it
I had to keep it safe

Now as a woman
I realized
Love has been with me
Love is my being itself
Love is the reason for my existence
Love is what connects me to all
Love has been leading me
Love has kept me alive
Love has helped me to overcome
Love is immensely strong
Love will continue, even I expire

Hi,
As I feel within paralel different lives, it does not make difference whether I am young or old, or which body carries my soul.I gave up to such intringuing searches, as this road does not guide me anywhere. I understand where you come from (or I think I understand), a sense of gratefulness and maturity, which I appreciate. As for me, as I said, it does not matter to know. There are issues of feelings and issues of knowledge. Lucky those that can match both. I do not intend to know what love is. While I would try doing it, it has gone. To get to feel, I need to give up to try to know.

you are probably wise. Knowledge, the way people know it, is just a headache anyway.

anyway I'm only posting here because I wanted to say before this closes, thank you for dancing with me a little bit that one day. You have no idea how nice that was for me.

The random quote which popped into my head sums up my own feelings on this topic well.

From Psalms: "When I walk through the Valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil".

I had social axiety, and it made life hard at one time. A valley of death.

Now I know what it's like to live like a victim.

I get it, I am me all the time now.

Love you, maybe...

It's the love thing, the roots, they are dark, and light bearing.

This is so true when we believe, and believe not knowing...no fear to keep on being ourselves. Thank you for sharing.

Social anxiety sucks. I used to have it pretty bad too for a few years and self isolated for a very long time. Felt like an out of space alien haha

I am me all the time now too - not that I wasn't ever not me. I just thought I was not being me Lol.

I do not really understand your last line

Love is weird hahaha.

Yeah, it really struck something in me about the unknowable nature of love. Taking actions from truth in each moment and having faith that it is all in unknowable divine order.

The rest of the psalm goes like this:

"When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil: for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil: my cup runneth over". Psalm 23.

I really like it.
